Sail from Buenos Aires, “The Paris of South America”, to Montevideo for an overnight stay where you’ll be swept up in its undeniable European charm. Don’t miss the chance to visit a traditional ranch for a delicious barbeque lunch. Next, you have two days to explore all the elevated experiences your boutique hotel at sea has to offer.

Next, settle in for two energetic nights celebrating a Rio de Janeiro tradition that goes back to the 1700s. We visit during the peak of Carnival festivities—including Fat Tuesday—and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more exhilarating and memorable festival anywhere on earth.

Two more days at sea follow to soak in the spectacle you’ve just been a part of, then it’s time to explore the artistic energy and white sand beaches of Punta del Este. Don't miss Carlos Paez Vilaro's atelier in Casapueblo or the Ralli Museum. Your voyage then concludes with an overnight return trip to Buenos Aires. Stay a little longer here to explore the city’s distinctly different districts: Palermo with its mansions and parks; Soho and Hollywood with their chic boutiques; and the Italian flavour of La Boca where tango dancers and artists display their talents for passers-by.

Days 2-3 - Montevideo (Uruguay)

Montevideo exudes European charm and elegance, with broad boulevards, fountains, stately squares, and irresistible sidewalk cafes. Days 6-8 - Rio de Janeiro (Brazil)

No journey to Rio would be complete without a visit to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World—Christ the Redeemer. At the top of Corcovado Mountain, this 125-foot-tall statue of Jesus Christ spreads its arms over Rio and offers breathtaking panoramic views of Guanabara Bay.
