About Hapag Lloyd
The three state-of-the-art expedition ships HANSEATIC nature, HANSEATIC inspiration and HANSEATIC spirit were launched in 2019 and 2021 and feature cutting-edge environmental technology such as SCR catalytic converters. The highest ice class and a shallow draught enable routes to the polar regions of the Arctic and the Antarctic as well as to warm-water destinations such as the Amazon.
Protecting the environment is of the highest priority for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, in order to preserve the world’s beauty for a long time to come. They combine a variety of smaller- and larger-scale measures to continuously improve the environmental performance of their ships, from design modifications that help reduce consumption, to technical solutions that decrease air emissions.
Cruises are bilingual with both English and German spoken on board.
