Introduction

Inspired by modern sailing yachts and custom-built for expedition travel, Scenic Eclipse blends luxurious public areas on board with the opportunity for adventure ashore. She has the highest Ice Class of any luxury ship, so well-equipped to navigate the polar waters of Antarctica and the Arctic.

A high staff-to-guest ratio means exceptional personal service is guaranteed. She carries no more than 228 guests, although this is reduced to 200 guests for expeditions to Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands, and the remote Arctic.

In August 2020, there is a special voyage to the legendary Northwest Passage, following in the footsteps of famous explorers. Scenic Eclipse also visits the popular ports of the Mediterranean, diverse Baltic cities and idyllic Caribbean.

Shore excursions are designed to showcase the historic treasures and natural wonders of each destination visited, leaving guests with memories to treasure. Days are filled with exploration, with regular Zodiac trips to see nature up close, and kayaks available for further adventure. Take the opportunity to snorkel in the Caribbean, go whale watching in New England or try snow shoeing in the vast wilderness of Antarctica.

Ships

Scenic Eclipse is Scenic's first ocean cruise ship and has been designed with guests’ enjoyment and pleasure in mind.
