Spacious, Luxury Ships

Scenic's European River Cruise ships have been designed with a modern, contemporary touch featuring luxurious finishes, fine woods and soft, high quality fabrics. From the moment you step onboard, your needs will be met with a high crew-to-guest ratio giving a more personal and attentive service. Enjoy 360 degree views of the passing riverside scenery from the spacious Sun Deck or perhaps enjoy a complimentary drink in the Panorama Lounge. There is also a relaxing wellness centre with a hair salon (supplement applies) and an onboard gym. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available on all European ships.

Most cabins onboard Scenic ships are larger than on many other European river cruises and each offers elegant furnishings, a flat-screen TV, in-cabin safe, complimentary mini-bar and Wi-Fi internet. Balcony suites have an exclusive Scenic 'Sun Lounge' system transforming your balcony into an all-weather conservatory at the touch of a button. The suites have enchanced benefits from extra butler privileges to an exclusive invitation to Table La Rive for an exquisite tasting menu with wine pairing. All cabins have a personal five-star butler service, trained at the International Butler Academy, and offer a laundry concierge service. The butler service for guests on the Jewel and Sapphire decks also includes a valet and shoeshine. Guests on the Diamond Deck and in Junior Suites can enjoy breakfast served in the room, whilst those in a Royal or Royal Panorama Suite are also treated to the ultimate butler service from delivering a morning newspaper to bringing pre-dinner canap's.

In Asia, Scenic Spirit was launched in 2016 on the Mekong river. This stylish ship offers features including an open-air cinema and steam sauna. Deluxe Suites have private full-length balconies and a Scenic 'Sun Lounge'. Grand Deluxe Suites have an outdoor balcony, seperate lounge area and Scenic 'Sun Lounge'. Royal Panorama Suites are the largest on the ship, located at the front. On the Irrawaddy River in Burma, Scenic Aura was launched in 2016, carrying just 44 guests in stylish cabins.

Dining

A highlight of a Scenic river cruise is the delicious, freshly made cuisine, inspired from the areas you travel through. Crystal Dining is the main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has an open seating plan with tables of two to eight. Enjoy a buffet breakfast with requests cooked to order, a generous lunch and an a la carte menu for dinner. Portobellos and L'Amour are speciality restaurants offering traditional cuisine with paired wines and seat just 30 guests. Every guest can experience the five-course dining experience at least once. There is also the option to have a light snack in the River Cafe, or dine al-fresco on the Riverview Terrace. Table La Rive has a six-course menu with sommelier paired wines and is reserved exclusively for Diamond Deck or Junior Suite guests. Throughout your time on board you can enjoy unlimited complimentary drinks including spirits, cocktails and branded beers. The in-cabin mini-bar is restocked daily.

Meals are served in the Crystal Dining room on Scenic Spirt on the Mekong, whilst Barmar Dining is the main restaurant on Scenuc Aura in Burma.

Excursions

From classical concerts in opulent palaces to dinner at a historical castle or an invitation to the home of a local family, Scenic Enrich highlights create the most memorable experiences, all at no extra cost. Scenic offer a choice of included excursions in most destinations so you can personalise your experience. The more adventurous guests can make use of a Scenic Tailormade device which has a GPS system with an interactive map and commentary so you can explore on your own and spend as much time as you wish at all the highlights. The onboard e-bikes also fit the Tailormade device.

Travel

All Scenic river cruises include flights from up to 15 UK airports: Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Durham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Humberside, Leeds Bradford, London City, Gatwick, Heathrow, Manchester, Newcastle and Norwich. Some itineraries also offer the flexibility to travel by Eurostar on some European river cruises.
