Sao Gabriel, new 2020: Sao Gabriel explores Port wine country along the sun-drenched River Douro. SS Catherine, new 2014; SS Antoinette, new 2011 The SS Catherine is similar to the SS Antoinette. Features include upper deck Category 1 cabins and suites with full-open air balconies, and middle deck and cabins with French windows, all with glass fronts raised at the touch of a switch. There is an indoor swimming pool on SS Antoinette, al fresco outdoor dining terrace and a spa.
Queen Isabel, new 2013: Queen Isabel cruises the River Douro and features suites with full balconies, an al fresco dining area and small pool on the sun deck.

Mekong ships

Mekong Jewel, new 2020: Mekong Jewel is the most luxurious ship cruising the Mekong River and constructed from sustainable, eco-friendly materials. There are two dining incredible dining venues on board, as well as a swimming pool on the Sun Deck, spa, and indoor and outdoor lounges.

Mekong Navigator, new 2014: The luxurious Mekong Navigator carries just 68 guests and blends French Colonial style with modern comfort and traditional furnishings.

River Victoria, remodelled 2011: The River Victoria décor and amenities have been handselected by the Red Carnation Hotel design team to provide the most comfortable experience possible while sailing the Volga River.

Ganges Voyager II, new 2015: The Ganges Voyager II carries just 56 guests in spacious suites with all the comforts of a 5-star hotel. All suites have a comfortable sitting area and French balcony with floor-to-ceiling-glass doors.

Nile Ship

SS Sphinx, new 2020: Carrying just 84 guests, SS Sphinx will make her debut on the River Nile in 2020. She is the only luxury river ship in Egypt, and features three gourmet dining venues, a swimming pool, and massage room.

River Tosca, new 2009: Cruise the legendary River Nile in style on the River Tosca with its Sun Deck with swimming pool and shaded cabanas where you can relax and take in the ever-changing views.

The inviting hotel-style beds are draped with duvets and the finest 100% Egyptian combed cotton sheets. A choice of pillows ensures a restful night's sleep.

Luxurious floor-to-ceiling marble bathrooms stocked with soothing bath products by L'Occitane and a plush, cosy robe add a touch of luxury. Soft, thick towels from Christies of Manchester - the oldest and most renowned towel maker in Europe - wrap you in warmth.

For viewing the ever-changing scenery, a sitting area by an opening French window is ideal, or perhaps the sit-on balconies featured on some of the ships.

Each stateroom also features generous built-in closet space, dressing table with make-up mirror, hair dryer, individually-controlled air conditioning and heating, direct-dial telephone, and safe. The infotainment centre has flat-screen TV and complimentary movie and entertainment options. Botted water is included.

On a Uniworld, each day brings culinary delights using the finest and freshest ingredients, often brought onboard from local farmers markets. Menus change daily to reflect region and season, and include special Signature Dishes.

The onboard menu

Buffet breakfasts has an extensive array of hot and cold selections - an omelette station, a dozen or more homemade breads and pastries, hand-cut seasonal fresh fruit, cereals, and teas and French coffee.

Lunch is a delectable buffet with salads, soups, hot pasta bar, carved-to-order roasts, artisanal cheeses, assorted sandwiches, tantalising desserts and more.

Evenings provide exquisite ambience with relaxed open seating and menus featuring fine meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. Every meal concludes with a wide range of freshly prepared, decadent desserts that look every bit as delicious as they taste.

Unlimited complimentary beverages including selected premium wine and spirits are included throughout the cruise.

Your Uniworld ship also offers a variety of other dining experiences including afternoon tea in the main lounge, and light-lunch dining. Early-riser breakfast is also available. Culinary highlights include the Captain's Welcome Gala and Farewell Dinner.

Uniworld - Useful information

Dining
The restaurant accommodates all guests in a relaxed, single, open seating and offers international and national cuisine. Breakfast and lunch are buffets with full-service evening meals featuring specialties of the house. All meal times are scheduled around tour departures, and breakfast can take place very early in the morning.

Any special dietary requirements should be advised at the time of booking. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request.

Electrical Appliances
Electrical current is 220V, with cabins also having 110V outlets. You may require an adapter and/or converter.

Gratuities
All gratuities are included in your cruise cost.

Shore Excursions
All Uniworld voyages include a programme of shore excursions. These have English speaking local guides and use Quietvox audio headsets.

Smoking Policy
Uniworld river ships do not permit smoking indoors and restrict this to the sun deck only.

Special Disabilities and Medical Conditions
Access to sites visited on shore excursions for guests with physical limitations is generally restrictive. In addition, most river ships, while spacious and elegant, do not have lifts.

Uniworld does not employ staff nurses or doctors onboard its ships. Should you need medical attention, it will be at local facilities, at your own expense.

What to Take With You
For your general guidance, casual clothing is ideal for daytime wear and comfortable walking shoes are recommended for on-shore excursions. Depending upon your choice of holiday, we also suggest you take additional clothes layers.

For evenings, smart-casual wear is perfectly suitable. Men may wish to bring a jacket for the onboard Captain's Welcome and Farewell Dinners.

If you wear glasses or contact lenses, it is advisable to take an extra pair in case of any loss or damage. Similarly, if you use any prescription medicine or special cosmetics, bring enough to last for the duration of your holiday as these may not be readily available at ports of call. We recommend that you take with you a photocopy of the photograph page in your passport.
