European ships
APT river ships in Europe feature complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks at all times, complimentary bottled water, tea and coffee, complimentary bicycles and a variety of local entertainment onboard. The Main Lounge features plush sofas and chairs, bar, and floor to ceiling windows, and in the evenings offers an entertainment programme.
AmaMagna, new 2019: Twice the width of a traditional river ship, revolutionary new river ship AmaMagna sails the Danube carrying just 194 guests, with large luxurious cabins, multiple dining options including an al-fresco restaurant and enhanced evening activities.
The Concerto Class ships have innovatory Twin Balcony cabins, with an outside sit-on balcony and a separate French balcony, plus a range of cabin types and dining venues. There is a heated swimming pool on the Sun Deck; Fitness Centre and sauna; massage, hair and beauty salon; and on latest ships an additional lower Sun Deck seating area in addition to the main Sun Deck.

The Aria Class ships introduced French balconies, with most cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling sliding windows with French balcony for all-weather enjoyment of the river scenery, plus a range of cabin types and dining venues. There is a heated whirlpool on the Sun Deck; Fitness Centre and sauna; massage, hair and beauty salon.

Royal Suites, Owner's Suites + and Owner's Suites
On Concerto Class ships these Suites are a huge 300 to 350 sq feet, with an outside sit-on balcony and a French balcony. On Aria Class ships the spacious 255 sq ft Owner's suites feature French balconies. On all there is a sitting area and the ensuite bathroom features separate shower and full-size bathtub. On the all-inclusive cruises there is champagne on arrival, room service for continental breakfast and dinner, and Gold standard butler service on Concerto class ships for the ultimate cruising experience.
Twin Balcony Cabins
The innovatory Twin Balcony Cabins on Concerto Class ships provide an external sitting area and a conservatory style area for cloudier skies. Categories P and P+ are 235 sq ft, T and T+ 210 sq ft. On the all-inclusive cruises Twin Balcony cabins have room service available for continental breakfast and dinner, and most (not Category T) have Gold or Silver butler service.
French Balcony Cabins
At 170 square feet with all-weather French balconies, these cabins allow maximum floor space with a sitting area offering unimpeded floor to ceiling views. On certain ships two 140 square feet single bed cabins are available.
Twin Window Cabins
With 170 sq ft of floor space, these are among the largest entry-level suites on all river cruise ships and represent excellent value for money, with the same amenities as balcony cabins.
Mekong ship
AmaLotus: Superb ship on the Mekong river, combining modern luxury with colonial and regional elegance, similar to a 5-star hotel in style and amenities. Carrying up to 124 passengers, most cabins feature outside and French balconies, with even the smallest cabins a large 226 square feet.
AmaMekong: AmaMekong, launched in 2020, is a luxurious ship carrying just 88 passengers in 44 cabins.
Apsara: New to the Travelmarvel by APT fleet, Apsara will be operating the Essential Cruises through Vietnam and Cambodia.
China ship
Yangzi Explorer: One of the most luxurious river cruise ships in the world, with just 62 large size suites and cabins all with private balcony. The boutique size of the ship allows it to access ports and tributaries that are inaccessible to larger vessels.
Burma ship
Samatha, new 2016: Carries just 60 guests and is arguably the most luxurious ship cruising the Irrawaddy River in Burma.

Travelmarvel Polaris, Capella and Vega, new 2020/21: These ships carry 182 passengers and cruise the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers. Public areas include the pub-style McGeary's Bar, and the Garden Terrace & Bar.
Travelmarvel Jewel and Diamond, new 2007: These ships carry just 170 guests in spacious cabins, most with French balconies. They feature the navigational bridge in the stern, behind the passenger section, to allow more space and freedom in the layout of the public areas.
Travelmarvel Sapphire, new 2006: This ship carries just 164 passengers in spacious cabins with plush furnishings.
Douro Serenity, new 2017: Accommodating just 126 guests in the most exquisite of surroundings, Douro Serenity offers cruises along Portugal’s most famous river, the Douro.
