The elegant two-storey lobby sets the stage for the entire ship, with its white and blue Murano chandelier and grand staircase made of nickel and black iron. You only have to look at your surroundings to understand that SS Beatrice embodies grace, beauty, refinement and comfort. Two decks of full-length French window cabins add to the luxurious ambience, and artwork throughout the ship includes pieces by Picasso and Signoretto.
Wolfgang's Lounge features sofas and chairs with hand-made upholstery, and there are a further three dining options, including the ship's main restaurant Mozart's. For an immersive culinary experience, Max's restaurant offers small cookery classes with the chef, and the cosy Austrian-themed Schubert's cafe features menus with cuisine from the ship's destinations. Other public areas include a sun deck with three sun tents and life-size chess and shuffleboard, fitness room, Serenity River Spa, guest laundry and lift.
There is 24-hour reception service, complimentary 24-hour speciality coffee and tea bar, use of bicycles and Nordic walking sticks, and free Internet and Wi-Fi access.
All the luxurious suites have hand-made Savoir of England beds, individual climate control, cosy bathrobes and slippers, flatscreen TV, hairdryer, safe and marble bathroom with Asprey toiletries.
The Owner’s Suites and Royal Suites offer extra benefits, including a separate living room and separate rain shower and tub with Hermes bath and body products.
