Essential Vietnam and Cambodia Itinerary

Day 1 - UK - Siem Reap (Cambodia)

Fly to the Cambodian city of Siem Reap.

Day 2 - Siem Reap

On arrival in Siem Reap this afternoon, transfer to the Shinta Mani Resort for your three-night stay.

Day 3 - Siem Reap - Angkor

Explore Ta Prohm, famous for its intertwined trees, before enjoying a visit to the Opportunities of Development thru Art which supports underprivileged children. This evening, there is a Welcome Dinner and traditional Aspara dance performance. (B,D)

Day 4 - Siem Reap - Angkor

This morning, head to the Angkor Archaeological Park and discover magnificent temples, including the Bayon temple. This evening, watch the sun set over the famous Angkor Wat. There is the option to enjoy select experiences before heading to the Angkor Archaeological Park. (B)

Day 5 - Siem Reap - Prek K'dam

After breakfast, board your ship, Apsara for your 7-night Mekong River cruise. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner this evening. (B,L,D)

Day 6 - Kampong Tralach - Oudong

Enjoy an ox-cart ride through the breathtaking countryside and receive a Buddhist blessing in Oudong, before boarding a boat and exploring the wetlands that form Tonle Sap’s river-mouth. Re-board your ship and continue cruising to Kampong Tralach, where you have the chance to participate in a Buddhist blessing. (B,L,D)

Day 7 - Koh Chen - Phnom Penh

Visit the copper manufacturing village of Koh Chen before continuing on to Phnom Penh, the Cambodian capital. (B,L,D)

Day 8 - Phnom Penh

Visit the infamous Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum this morning, This afternoon, enjoy a tour of the opulent Royal Palace and impressive Silver Pagoda. (B,L,D)

Day 9 - Tan Chau

Spend the day on board as you head towards the Vietnamese border. Perhaps watch a fruit-carving demonstration by one of the chefs. Arrive in the town of Tan Chau where the ship moors overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 10 - Tan Chau - Sa Dec (Vietnam)

Travel along the tiny tributaries that snake around Tan Chau. Later, step ashore for a rickshaw tour of Tan Chau. (B,L,D)

Day 11 - Sa Dec - Cai Be

This morning, enjoy a boat ride to Sa Dec for a guided tour of the city’s main sights. After lunch, travel by local boat to the town of Cai Be with its impressive floating markets. Visit a local rice paper manufacturer and the French Gothic Cathedral before returning to the ship for a Farewell Dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 12 - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City

Disembark your ship and travel by coach to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense network of connected underground tunnels built during the Vietnam War. Later, check in to the Fusion Suites hotel for your two-night stay. (B)

Day 13 - Ho Chi Minh City

Spend time at leisure or join an optional tour. This evening, enjoy a special farewell dinner at at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 14 - Ho Chi Minh City - UK

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK. (B)

Day 15 - UK

Arrive back in the UK.
