Day 1 - UK - Budapest (Hungary)
Fly from a choice of UK regional airports to Budapest and transfer to your stylish ship. Meet your fellow guests and enjoy dinner this evening. (D)
Day 2 - Budapest – Kalocsa
This morning, depart Budapest and begin cruising to Kalocsa, which is renowned for its production of paprika. On arrival, visit a traditional Puszta Horse Farm, where you can watch an amazing Magyar horsemen performance. Captain's Gala Dinner tonight. (B,L,D)
Day 3 - Osijek (Croatia)
Arrive in the beautiful Croatian city of Osijek which is home to an impressive 18th-century fortress. Enjoy a guided tour and learn about everyday life in the city as you meet a local family and enjoy a traditional lunch. There is also the option to meet local students. (B,L,D)
Day 4 - Belgrade (Serbia)
Enjoy a tour of the Serbian capital of Belgrade, with highlights including Tito's Memorial and the impressive Fortress Kalemegdan which overlooks the Sava and Danube Rivers. You'll also visit St Sava Church which is the largest Orthodox cathedral in the world. If you are feeling active, join the guided bike ride. Day 5 - Donji Milanovac
Visit the town of Donji Milanovac, from where you'll head to the Palaeolithic site of Lepenski Vir. It is one of the most significant prehistoric sites from the Stone Age. Later, cruise the Iron Gates. (B,L,D)
Day 6 - Vidin (Bulgaria)
Arrive in Vidin this morning and visit a local vineyard for a wine tasting before heading to the Baba Vida Fortress. Alternatively, join the guided hike to Belogradchik Fortress. (B,L,D)
Day 7 - Rousse - Veliko Tarnovo - Arbanasi (Bulgaria)
This morning, you will sail to Rousse then travel to Veliko Tarnovo, the former capital of the Bulgarian Empire. Admire the 200-year-old houses, shop for souvenirs or visit one of the art galleries. Later, head to Arbanasi which overlooks the Yantra Valley. Enjoy a choir concert during your time here. For the active, there is a guided hike to UNESCO-listed Ivanovo Churches. Day 8 - Bucharest (Romania)
Disembark your ship and travel to Bucharest for a 1-night hotel stay. Enjoy a tour of the city's wide avenues with highlights including the Palace of the Parliament. (B,D)
Day 9 - Bucharest - UK
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. (B)
