Day 1 - UK - Bucharest (Romania) - Giurgiu

Fly from the UK to Bucharest and transfer to Giurgiu to board your luxury river ship. Welcome Dinner on board tonight. (D)

Day 2 - Rousse (Bulgaria)

Travel from Rousse to the ancient city of Veliko Tarnovo for a guided tour. (B,L,D)

Day 3 - Vidin - Belogradchik

Discover Baba Vida Fortress, the 10th century medieval castle which is located above the remains of the ancient town of Bononia in Vidin. Then journey to Belogradchik and explore the ancient fortress on the northern slope of the Balkan Mountains before visiting the towns rock formations. (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Iron Gates (Serbia)

Admire the dramatic scenery of the Iron Gates.

Day 5 - Novi Sad

Take a guided tour of lively Novi Sad, or call at a local farmstead. (B,L,D)

Day 6 - Kalocsa (Hungary)

Discover Hungarian culture during your exclusive Signature Experience in the historical town of Kalocsa. Visit the Folk Art House, a Paprika manufacturer and a farm in Puszta for a traditional horse riding show followed by lunch. (B,L,D)

Day 7 - Budapest

Join a local guide for an exciting tour of Budapest which straddles the River Danube. Alternatively, hike to Gellert Hill or enjoy a culinary walking tour around Great Market Hall. (B,L,D)

Day 8 - Budapest - UK
