Spitsbergen - Cruise Ship from Hurtigruten Expeditions

MS Spitsbergen, named after the archipelago, joined the Hurtigruten fleet in spring 2016, offering voyages along the beautiful Norwegian coastline.

MS Spitsbergen cruises along the Norwegian coast from September to May, and becomes part of our global Explorer sailings during the rest of the year. Her manoeuvrability and size mean she is well suited to cruising Arctic waters.

Fully refurbished by Tillberg Design of Sweden, public areas are modern and comfortable spaces to relax and enjoy the scenery. The fresh, Scandinavian design reflects the colour palette from the sea.
