Richard With is named after the founder of Hurtigruten.
In November 2018, the ship was fully refurbished in a modern Scandinavian style. Every cabin and bathroom was updated, with a number of cabins merged to create larger suites. Six of these new suites located on Deck 6 feature magnificent bay windows and a seating area allowing guests to take in the ever-changing scenery.
The Torget main restaurant received impressive deck-to-ceiling windows, and the Brygga bistro was replaced by a larger arcade and a brand new Activity Centre, the perfect base for the Expedition Team to deliver lectures and excursion information. The Multe Bakery was fully refurbished and offers freshly baked cakes, pastries and sandwiches. A new addition was Krysten Fine Dining, an exclusive restaurant serving innovative dishes using local produce. During the day it is a bistro.
The Explorer Lounge and Panorama Bar was also updated and continues to offer the best views from the ship.
