Sicilian Sunsets and Amalfi Delights Itinerary

Day 1 - Valletta Harbour, Malta

Emark in Valletta's picturesque port at 14:00. Our attentive crew ensures your safety with a comprehensive drill. Join us for a delightful welcome cocktail and dinner as we set sail for Port Empedocle around 9pm, marking the start of your unforgettable journey through the sparkling Mediterranean seas.

Day 2 - Port Empedocle (Sicily)

Awaken in the serene embrace of Port Empedocle, a coastal gem on Sicily's southern shore, with its tranquil charm and maritime legacy. Opt for an optional tour to Agrigento's UNESCO-listed Temple Valley, delving into ancient Greek ruins and the famed Turkish Stairway. Enjoy leisurely exploration before a cocktail demonstration and onboard dinner. Depart around 10pm for Trapani, anticipating another enchanting Mediterranean night.

Day 3 - Trapani

Early morning our ship docks at the charming Trapani, known for its maritime history. Explore the old town's vibrant harbor, cobblestone streets, and quaint piazzas. Opt for a tour to medieval Erice, visiting the Castle of Venus and enjoying panoramic views. Relax with lunch at leisure and savour a delightful onboard dinner to end the day.

Day 4 - Palermo

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Trapani followed by lunch at your leisure. Depart at 1:30 pm for Palermo, Sicily's vibrant capital. Spend the afternoon as you please before a Wine Tasting Experience onboard, preparing you for a delightful 4-course dinner. We will arrive in Palermo around 8pm, offering the opportunity to extend your evening at a trendy bar, enjoying local wines paired with savoury snacks.

Day 5 - Palermo

Explore Palermo's rich cultural tapestry and vibrant energy, where ancient legacies blend seamlessly with modern vitality. Wander through the historic centre's narrow alleys to discover Baroque wonders and majestic palaces, complemented by lively markets and bustling piazzas. Choose from optional tours exploring the city's underworld or savouring Sicilian delicacies before bidding farewell and sailing towards Lipari.

Day 6 - Lipari

Today, we wake up on Lipari's tranquil shores, an Aeolian gem steeped in myth and natural beauty. Join our half-day tour to soak in panoramic views from Quattrocchi, explore Quattropani, visit a Spanish castle-turned-cathedral, and enjoy Sicilian-inspired dining before sailing to Sorrento at 6:30 pm.

Day 7 - Sorrento (Italy)

Morning breaks as we arrive in Sorrento, a Mediterranean jewel on the Amalfi Coast. Explore its cliffs with stunning views over the Bay of Naples. Optional tours to Pompeii offer a glimpse into Roman history. Enjoy leisure time to savour Sorrento’s offerings before dinner aboard, followed by a stroll through Sorrento’s charming streets for a perfect end to your day in this coastal haven.

Day 8 - Naples

As we arrive in Naples at dawn, savour a delightful breakfast on board before disembarking. Should you wish to extend your stay and explore more of Naples' charm, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are delighted to arrange additional experiences tailored to your preferences.

Price Includes

  • 7-night cruise on board Variety Voyager in your chosen grade of cabin with ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, mini fridge and flat screen TV with complimentary movies.
  • Half-board: Buffet breakfast and one main meal daily, including a Welcome Cocktail, a local themed party evening, fun BBQ on the beach or on deck (weather permitting) and Captain’s Dinner.
  • Regular (filter) coffee, tea and drinking water free all day, plus abundant fresh fruit.
  • Use of fishing and snorkelling equipment, sea kayak and stand up paddle boards (subject to availability).
