Day 2
Portimão
On the western Algarve, Portimão is a small port with a bustling historic centre. Once a well-known fishing port, now transformed into a breath-taking promenade with shops selling traditional lace, ceramics, and leather goods, and fantastic restaurants. Portimão is much loved for the steep limestone cliffs that surround its sandy beach of Praia da Rocha. Architectural masterpieces from the 19th and 20th century seamlessly blend with colourful contemporary structures creating the Portimão we know today. Days 3-4
Seville (Spain)
On the shores of the Guadalquivir River is Seville, the elegant capital of Andalusia. Seville is an architect's dream with historic styles ranging from the Gothic design of Cathedral de Santa María de la Sede to the Baroque style Iglesia Colegial del Salvador. Docking right in the heart of the city, simply step off Scenic Eclipse to start your own discovery. Explore the monuments including the Casa de Pilatos or visit the sherry capital, Jerez for a tasting. Puerto Banus
Puerto Banús sets the standard in exclusivity, and is known for luxurious cars, expensive shops and impressive yachts – where Scenic Eclipse will feel right at home. This small town was developed in the 1970s to be the perfect combination of Andalusian culture, reflecting the fishing ports of the area, as well as a luxurious port town with sophistication and elegance. Set against a backdrop of immense mountains, wind your way through the town’s narrow streets lined with flower boxes. With a late-night departure, enjoy the opportunity to experience Puerto Banús by both day and night. Malaga (Spain)
Explore the city of Málaga on Spain’s Costa del Sol, with more than 3,000 years of history, this 15th century merchants' centre is today a vibrant cosmopolitan city. Visitors flock to the region for its sunshine, and artistic roots. The city is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, and proudly pays homage to the virtuoso with a dedicated museum. Uncover gastronomic delights such as “tinto de verano”, an iced summer wine and wander the streets filled with architectural delights from colourful baroque designs to historic Roman theatre. Delve into the art and architecture of Málaga with a visit to Picasso Museum and a gleaming white-stone cathedral, or uncover the secrets of the historic city as you are guided by an archeologist. Cartagena

Once inhabited by the Romans, Cartagena is recognised for the wealth of ancient sites in and around the city. Roman murals and mosaics adorn historical villas while late 19th century architecture complements the picturesque Mediterranean coast. Explore Cartagena on a walking tour learning the history, or visit the historic city of Murcia dating back to the 9th century. Ibiza
Whilst Ibiza is known for its dazzling sunsets and thriving nightlife scene, there is more to this island than meets the eye. Home to beautiful nature and superb beaches, you will also discover archaeological sites and small villages almost untouched by modern life. Today, choose one of our Scenic Freechoice activities or join a more active Scenic Discovery excursion. Visit a small farm run by a local family where you will get back to the roots making food from scratch in a fun and relaxed cheese making workshop, or discover the medieval charms of Old Town Ibiza, otherwise known as D’Alt Vila, on a narrated walking tour. Palma de Mallorca
Palma de Mallorca offers a rich cultural heritage inherited from the Romans, Moors and Catholics who lived here successively since 123 BC. Wander the narrow cobbled streets of Palma’s casco antiguo, and admire its elegant archways, grand historic palacios, medieval churches and charming squares. Today, choose one of our Scenic Freechoice activities or join a more active Scenic Discovery excursion. Discover the small village of Sóller on a walking tour, visiting a monastery and botanic garden. Choose to visit Valldemossa, a village steeped with old world charm, and see original music sheets from Chopin, or drive to Palma de Mallorca and visit BelIever Castle and Spain’s second largest Gothic Cathedral. Hike along the sea cliffs, looking out to the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean before snorkeling through some of the caves.

Mahon
Known for its British-style Georgian houses and medieval streets, filled with palaces, churches and fortresses, Mahon is truly Vella i Bella (‘Old and Beautiful’). Life on Menorca is dictated by the slow and gentle waves that lap on the shorelines. Breathe in history during a walk through the old town and gain insight into the great past of the town.Today, choose one of our Scenic Freechoice activities or join a more active Scenic Discovery excursion. Visit archaeological sites as you walk around the Biosphere Reserve, or learn the cultures of Menorca, explore small towns and taste specialties such as their local cheese and gin. Barcelona
Disembark after breakfast as you farewell the crew and take away memories of a truly unforgettable cruise. Please book your flight to depart out of Barcelona after 12:00 PM.
