Balmoral carries up to 1325 guests in a range of well-appointed cabins and suites. She is the largest ship in the Fred Olsen fleet, yet still small enough to navigate narrow waterways including the Kiel Canal.
There is a warm and friendly atmosphere on board Balmoral, named after the Scottish residence of the British Royal Family. The Scottish theme is evident throughout the ship's main dining venues - the Ballindalloch, Avon and Spey. Other dining venues on board include the Palms Cafe which offers a more informal experience.
Guests can enjoy evening shows in the beautifully refurbished Neptune Lounge, savour traditional Afternoon Tea in the Observatory Lounge, and take advantage of the two swimming pools. There are plenty of exciting daytime activities to keep everyone entertained, from guests speakers to craft lessons and fun quizzes.
