Roald Amundsen is an innovative, state-of-the-art expedition ship and the first to use electric hybrid technology, reducing fuel consumption.
There are no inside cabins on Roald Amundsen meaning every cabin has a view. The Polar Outside cabins have a window or porthole, while the majority of Arctic Superior and Expedition Suites have a balcony, perfect for relaxing and taking in the ever-changing scenery. All cabins are en-suite and amenities vary dependent on the cabin grade.
The stylish interior decor is inspired by nature, with Scandinavian materials used in the cabins and spacious public areas. In addition, there is a choice of superb dining venues on board, including the Lindstrom and Fredheim Restaurants, plus three swimming pools.
Roald Amundsen is fully equipped to sail in polar waters and offers unique expedition voyages in remote regions.
