Day 1 - Reykjavik (Iceland)
Embark your ship in Reykjavik.
Day 2-3 - At Sea
Enjoy the ship's facilities during relaxing days at sea.
Day 4 - Qaqortoq (Greenland)
Explore the scenic town of Qaqortoq where brightly coloured houses line the streets. The Qaqortoq Museum has a fantastic collection of Inuit hunting artefacts.
Day 5 - Kvanefjord
Sail deep into the fjord and explore the beautiful region of Kvanefjord near Paamiut. Kayak amongst icebergs and enjoy onshore walks with the expedition team.
Day 6 - Maniitsoq
Maniitsoq is often referred to as the `Venice of Greenland´ as it is situated in an archipelago, intersected by natural canals. Learn about the towns rich history and culture at the local museum.
Day 7 - Sisimiut
Sisimiut is located just north of the Arctic Circle. This is the second largest town in Greenland, a modern, picturesque settlement that maintains ancient traditions. The area has been inhabited for around 4,500 years and travelling by dog sled has been the main means of winter transport for centuries.
Day 8 - Ilulissat
Ilulissat is set in the stunning scenery of the Ilulissat Icefjord where giant icebergs run aground at the mouth of the fjord. Learn about the town's long history and the importance of fishing and tourism.
Day 9 - Vaigat Sound
We now arrive at the northernmost point in our itinerary. There are several excellent landing sites in Vaigat Sound offering breathtaking landscape and Arctic flora. Our experienced captain and Expedition Leader will take advantage of the current weather and ice conditions to identify our activity for the day.
Day 10 - Evighed Fjord
Arrive at the meandering Evighed Fjord for a day of exploration. Conditions of the day will determine the final program and the range of activities available.
Day 11 - Nuuk
Nuuk is the capital and largest city in Greenland where old and new traditions meet. Perhaps visit the National Museum - home to the famous mummies of Qilakitsoq.
Day 12 - Ivittuut
Archaeologists believe that Ivittuut was the last Norse settlement in Greenland to be established, and the first to be abandoned. The abandoned town is now teeming with musk oxen.
Day 13 - Prince Christian Sound
If conditions allow, we will sail through the Prince Christian Sound and enjoy the spectacular scenery here. If the channel is blocked with ice, we will sail around Nunap Isua (Cape Farewell).
Day 14-15 - At Sea
Enjoy the ship's facilities during relaxing days at sea.
Day 16 - Reykjavik (Iceland)
Disembark in Reykjavik.
