Spend a couple of days exploring the Falkland Islands, home to an abundance of wildlife including southern rockhopper penguins. Enjoy Zodiac trips and landings, and visit Stanley which has a unique British ambiance.
Discover remains of old whaling stations and abandoned outposts on South Georgia, a remote and mountainous island. A significant site is the grave of explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton in Grytviken which is also home to an old whaling station. In addition to the history, the wildlife makes South Georgia truly memorable. Keep an eye out for king penguins and elephant seals during your time here.
You'll reach the White Continent, an experience beyond words. Antarctica is a land of extremes which you'll explore by Zodiac with the Expedition Team. See colonies of Chinstrap, Adelie and gentoo penguins, as well as leopard seals and whales. After over two weeks of endless wildlife encounters and new experiences, cross the Drake Passage back to Ushuaia where this adventure comes to an end.

Falklands, South Georgia, and Antarctica: Explorers and Kings Itinerary
Day 1 - Ushuaia (Argentina)
Ushuaia is your gateway to Antarctica. It has a small-town feel yet has many shops, museums and restaurants. Transfer from the airport to hotel from a pre-cruise overnight stay.
Day 2 - Ushuaia
Embark your ship to begin your Antarctic adventure. Meet your Expedition Team and settle into your cabin.
Day 3 - At sea
Enjoy a day at sea with lectures and presentations led by the Expedition Team.
Days 4-5 - Falkland Islands
The archipelago contains two main islands, East Falkland and West Falkland, which you'll explore by Zodiac. Visit Stanley which has a unique British ambience, and take in the abundant wildlife, including southern rockhopper penguins and black-browed albatross. The Expedition Team will educate you on the local flora and fauna
Days 6-7 - At sea
Cruise southeast to South Georgia and officially enter Antarctic waters once you cross the Antarctic Convergence. This meeting of oceans helps create the abundant krill that attracts whales and seals to this remote region.
Days 8-11 - South Georgia
This remote, mountainous island was a popular stop for many historic Antarctic expeditions. See remnants of old whaling stations and other abandoned outposts, as well as the grave of explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton. Enjoy Zodiac landings and keep an eye out for king penguins on the beaches and elephant seals.
Days 12-13 - At sea
Spend a relaxing couple of days at sea en-route to Antarctica. Conditions permitting, we may land on the South Orkney Islands.
Days 14-17 - South Shetland Islands (Antarctica) - Antarctic Peninsula
Arrive in Antarctica, a magical experience. One minute you will be overcome with a feeling of calm and tranquillity, and the next inspired by nature as a glacier crashes into the sea. Enjoy Zodiac cruising and see colonies of Chinstrap, Adelie and gentoo penguins, as well as leopard seals. You may also be lucky enough to see whales including minkes. There is an optional paddling excursion, and there may be the opportunity to plunge into the icy waters.
Days 18-19 - Drake Passage
Cross the Drake Passage back to Ushuaia, where this incredible journey comes to an end.
Day 20 - Ushuaia (Argentina)
Disembark your ship in Ushuaia. Airport transfers will be provided for those departing on the first homeward flights. Other guests will be transferred to town.
