Day 1 - UK - Buenos Aires (Argentina)
Take an overnight flight from the UK to Buenos Aires.
Day 2 - Buenos Aires
Arrive in Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 - Buenos Aires - Ushuaia
Fly from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia where you will be warmly greeted by your crew as you step on board Scenic Eclipse. Settle into your beautifully appointed suite and acquaint yourself with all the facilities of your luxurious ship. Toast the start of your voyage at the welcome cocktail reception hosted by your captain who will introduce your expert Discovery Leaders and their team.
Day 4 - At sea

Days 5-7 - Antarctic Peninsula
Due to the extraordinary nature of the region, the sailing and expedition schedule is flexible based on the conditions. Your experienced Captain and Discovery Leader will carefully plan each day's activities. Discovery: Partake in daily Scenic Discovery excursions and cruise on the Zodiacs or kayaks around ice formations and step onshore to view penguin rookeries.
Days 8-9 - At sea

Days 10-11 - South Georgia
Once again, due to the nature of the region, the sailing and expedition schedule is flexible based on the conditions. Discovery: On your Scenic Discovery excursions, be in awe of the majesty of nature as you step onto beaches surrounded by thousands of king penguins and encounter enormous southern elephant seals and countless fur seals. In Grytviken, a former whaling station, you'll have the opportunity to visit the resting place of Ernest Shackleton. Discovery excursions led by the Discovery team offer unique insights into the environment, wildlife and history dependent on ice and weather conditions.

Days 13-14 - Falkland Islands
The Falkland Islands are a unique archipelago teeming with wildlife and nature intertwined with an intriguing history and culture. Saunders Island is where you can see the gentoo, Magellanic and rockhopper penguins on white sandy beaches. Discovery: Enjoy Scenic Discovery excursions by Zodiac, kayak and nature walks. Discover the picturesque capital of the Falklands, Stanley, and get to know the friendly locals who are proud of their history and heritage which you will uncover at the museum. Freechoice: Take a walking tour of the small capital or on a Battlefields tour visit the key sites of the conflict. Discovery: Scenic Discovery excursion at Gypsy Cove, walk the wildlife trail and see the Magellanic penguin colony.
Days 15-19 - At sea
Bid farewell to the Falkland Islands and set sail north to the continent of South America.
Day 20 - Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) - UK
Your cruise ends this morning as you say your goodbyes to the crew. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
Day 21 - UK
Arrive back in the UK.
