As well as visiting the fascinating cities of Dublin, Edinburgh and York, this holiday takes in some of the most beautiful scenery in the British Isles.

Enjoy a tour of picturesque St Peter Port, the capital of Guernsey and overlooked by the impressive 13th-century Castle Cornet, before heading to Falmouth on the Cornish coast, where you can enjoy a visit to the award-winning Eden Project or St Michael's Mount. Located off the coast of Cornwall is Tresco, one of the Scilly Isles, home to the world famous Tresco Abbey Gardens. Take in the iconic sights of Dublin, including Trinity College and St Patrick's Cathedral, or visit some of Ireland's finest scenery in Country Wicklow.

Aegean Odyssey heads north to Scotland, visiting Oban where there is an excursion to the grand Inveraray Castle, and the stunning Isle of Skye. From Scrabster, enjoy a visit to the Castle of Mey, the former holiday home of the late Queen Mother then from Rosyth travel into Edinburgh to see the city's famous sights, including Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. The British Isles Itinerary

Day 1 - London Tower Bridge (England)

Embark Aegean Odyssey in London Tower Bridge.

Day 2 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 3 - Guernsey (Channel Islands)

Guernsey is one of the beautiful Channel Islands and loyal to the British crown, reflected in the Anglo-French ambiance. Enjoy a guided walking tour of St Peter Port, the fascinating capital of Guernsey, with a visit to the 13th-century Castle Cornet or take the panoramic tour of the island with visits to the Little Chapel, the wild cliffs at Pleinmont Point and the sandy beaches of Rocquaine Bay.

Day 4 - Falmouth (England)

From the Cornish port of Falmouth, head to the Eden Project, considered one of the wonders of the modern world. The biomes contain plants from all over the world; discover tropical plants in the Rainforest Biome, enjoy the aromas of orange and lemon in the Mediterranean Biome and see an array of flowers in the 30-acre Outdoor Garden. Alternatively travel to St Michael's Mount for a guided tour of the Castle and free time to explore Marazion back on the mainland.

Day 5 - Tresco (Isles of Scilly)

Located off the coast of Cornwall is the beautiful island of Tresco, one of the Scilly Isles. Explore the famous Tresco Abbey Gardens, home to more than 20,000 exotic plants from all over the world, including Brazil, Burma and South Africa.

Day 6 - Holyhead (Wales)

Holyhead lies on the far side of the beautiful island of Anglesey which boasts miles of inspiring coastline, hidden beaches, chocolate-box villages and hundreds of historic sites including the magnificent 13th-century Beaumaris Castle and Bryn Celli Ddu Burial Chamber. Enjoy panoramic tours of the Anglesey coastline on a guided tour or the Snowdonia countryside, or explore the magnificent Caernarfon Castle.

Day 7 - Dublin (Ireland)

Dublin, the lively capital of the Emerald Isle, has superb restaurants, fascinating museums and lively bars. Enjoy a guided tour which takes in the iconic sights including Trinity College, Dublin Castle and the impressive St Patrick's Cathedral. There is also an optional scenic coastal drive to the 14th-century Malahide Castle with refreshments at the traditional Abbey Tavern, or a drive through County Wicklow's beautiful scenery to the magnificent gardens at Powerscourt.

Day 8 - Oban (Scotland)

Arrive in Oban and enjoy a scenic drive to visit Inveraray Castle on the shores of Loch Fyne, which has been the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll since the 17th century, or discover the dramatic landscape of the Highlands and visit Glencoe Visitor Centre.

Day 9 - Portree

Portree is the main town on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Choose from three excursions today. Enjoy a scenic tour of this magical island to learn more about its fascinating history; explore the 13th-century Dunvegan Castle; or drive through Skye’s stunning scenery to the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and the Skye Museum of Island Life.

Day 10 - Scrabster

Scrabster is a beautiful port located in picturesque Thurso Bay. Drive to the magnificent Castle of Mey for a guided tour of the castle and beautiful gardens; learn more about the Highland Clearances on a visit to the village of Bettyhill; or travel through dramatic scenery to the famous village of John o'Groats.

Day 11 - Rosyth

Enjoy an excursion to Edinburgh for a walking tour of the famous Royal Mile, from the 12th-century castle to the magnificent Holyrood Palace, or visit Stirling Castle which offers amazing views from its dramatic perch on top of an extinct volcano.

Day 12 - Tyne (England)

From the port of Tyne take the opportunity to explore UNESCO-listed Hadrian's Wall, built by the Romans.

Day 13 - Hull

Travel to York to explore this city of extraordinary cultural and historical wealth enclosed within 13th-century walls. Historic landmarks include the awe-inspiring York Minster, one of the most beautiful Gothic cathedrals in the world.

Day 14 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 15 - London Tilbury

Disembark Aegean Odyssey in London Tilbury.
