Enjoy an exciting transit of the Kiel Canal then from Warnemunde, take the opportunity to visit the historic capital of Berlin with highlights including the impressive Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie Museum. Delight in the medieval towers, cobblestone streets and ancient walls of Tallinn, capital of Estonia.

An overnight stay in St Petersburg allows ample time to discover the city's ornate churches and cathedrals, magnificent Hermitage Museum and opulent palaces once home to Russian Tsars. St Petersburg and Baltic Cities Itinerary

Day 1 - London Tilbury (UK)

Embark Marco Polo in London Tilbury.

Day 2 - Hull

Hull has been the principal port of England's east coast for centuries and this history can be seen in the Old Town's grand minster, cobbled streets and Georgian town houses.

Day 3 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 4 - Kiel (Germany)

Kiel is known as the Sailing City due to its unique location at Kiel Fjord. Transit the Kiel Canal which links the North Sea to the Baltic Sea.

Day 5 - Warnemunde for Berlin

An international resort at the mouth of the Warnow River, Warnemunde is the gateway to Berlin, which can be visited on an exciting full day optional tour. The Brandenburg Gate, fashionable Unter den Linden and the Checkpoint Charlie Museum will provide some powerful memories.

Day 7 - Tallinn (Estonia)

A very attractive Baltic capital city, that is renowned for its friendliness and the welcome it provides for visitors. Estonia is now a modern forward thinking country but with a great pride in its history. Tallinn has a well-preserved medieval quarter, impressive fortified city walls and it is a delight to visit the quaintly named Long Leg Street or Tall Hermann, a 14th century watchtower.

Days 8-9 - St Petersburg (Russia)

The Hermitage and its outstanding art collection, the Peter and Paul Fortress, St Isaac's Cathedral and the battleship Aurora all vie for your attention in this city on the banks of the Neva River. A full programme of excursions, including evening options to the ballet or a folklore show, is operated here to help you make the most of your precious time.

Day 10 - Helsinki (Finland)

Finland's capital, Helsinki is a vibrant and modern city. Senate Square is lined with elegant neo-classical buildings and the spectacular Lutheran Cathedral. See the onion-domed Uspenski Cathedral which dominates the city's skyline. Helsinki is home to several museums, including the National Museum of Finland.

Day 11 - Nynashamn for Stockholm (Sweden)

Nynashamn lies on the southern tip of Sodertorn and is the gateway to the 700-year old capital of Stockholm. One of the most beautiful cities in the world, it is spread over 14 islands, connected by some 50 bridges. Wander around the enchanting medieval Gamla Stan, the original old town and perhaps visit the fascinating Wasa Museum, housing the world's oldest identified ship.

Day 13 - Copenhagen (Denmark)

Copenhagen is the largest city in Scandinavia and home to the world's oldest monarchy. See the elegant Amalienborg Palace, stroll along the cobblestone streets in historic Nyhavn and visit the beautiful Tivoli Gardens.

Day 14 - Skagen (Denmark)

White sandy beaches and clear waters surround the city of Skagen whose distinctive yellow houses with red roofs create an enchanting atmosphere.

Day 15 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 16 - Hull (UK)

Disembark Marco Polo in Hull.
