Cross the Sea of the Hebrides to the Bishop's Isles for a thrilling beach landing then cruise past sea stacs to the bird paradise of Hirta, the jewel in St Kilda's crown. Sail past the mysterious Flannan Islands to Stornoway to discover the ancient Callanish Standing Stones and Iron Age Carloway Broch, then land on the enchanting Shiant Isles where colonies of seabirds swoop among the cliffs.

Tour the island of Harris and enjoy a weaving demonstration of the famous Harris Tweed. Cross the Minch to explore Skye's spectacular rock scenery and enjoy walks ashore on the Small Isle of Eigg.

St Kilda and the Hebrides Itinerary

Day 1 - Oban (Scotland)

Embark Hebridean Princess in Oban.

Day 2 - Bishop's Isles

Cruise across the Sea of the Hebrides, noted for its abundant marine life, to enjoy a landing on a white sandy beach on one of the uninhabited Bishop's Isles.

Day 3 - St Kilda

Cruise past the sea stacs, skerries and islands of spectacular St Kilda to anchor in Village Bay. Go ashore on the Isle of Hirta; the largest island in the St Kilda archipelago, then cruise past the Flannan Isles.

Day 4 - Stornoway

In Stornoway, see the Callanish Standing Stones which were erected around 5,000 years ago and the Iron Age Carloway Broch. Explore the Butt of Lews, the most northerly point of the Hebrides, and visit St Moulag's Church or Lews Castle Museum.

Day 5 - Shiant Isles - Tarbert

Enjoy a beach landing on the uninhabited Shiant Isles which are home to thousands of seabirds and puffins that nest on the cliffs of huge basalt columns. Later, tour the island of Harris, with a weaving demonstration of the famous Harris Tweed.

Day 6 - Uig - Portree

Cross the Minch to the Isle of Skye to tour the striking landscape of the Trotternish Peninsula then enjoy time at leisure to explore the colourful fishing village of Portree.

Day 7 - Eigg

Cruise through Kyle Rhea and the Narrows to the delightful Small Isle of Eigg for walks ashore.

Day 8 - Oban

Disembark Hebridean Princess in Oban.
