Visit colourful Tobermory which was established in the late 18th century before cruising to the Republic of Ireland. Explore the lively city of Dublin, steeped in history and tradition, and visit Cobh, gateway to the city of Cork and excursions to Ireland’s legendary Blarney Castle.

Perhaps visit Tresco's colourful Abbey Gardens from the island of St Mary's and stroll along the cobbled streets of historic St Peter Port, perfect for duty-free shopping. Cruise the beautiful River Seine to medieval Rouen, home to the impressive Notre Dame Cathedral.

Round Britain and River Seine Experience Itinerary

Day 1 - Newcastle (UK)

Embark Magellan in Newcastle.

Day 2 - Dundee

Dundee is located on the Firth of Tray estuary and is home to interesting museums, including the RRS Discovery and Verdant Works. The city is the gateway to breathtaking countryside and the seaside suburb of Broughty Ferry. Please note: Passengers on the 22nd June departure from Dundee will be embarking the ship today.

Day 3 - Kirkwall (Orkney Islands)

Kirkwall is the capital of the Orkney archipelago. The spectacular St Magnus Cathedral dominates the town's skyline. Take one of the optional excursions during your time here.

Day 4 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 5 - Tobermory (Isle of Mull)

The picture-postcard village of Tobermory is one of the prettiest ports in Scotland. Its large natural harbour is home to colourful boats bobbing on the waves and a rainbow of brightly painted buildings backed by wooded hills. Mull’s diverse landscape ranges from high mountain and wild moorland to sea cliffs and sandy beaches.

Day 6 - Dublin (Ireland)

Dublin is the capital of the Emerald Isle and boasts a superb mix of medieval, Georgian and modern architecture. The city is home to Dublin Castle, Trinity College and majestic Four Courts. Perhaps cross the Ha’penny Bridge, one of Dublin’s most famous landmarks.

Day 7 - Cobh

Cobh lies at the mouth of the River Lee and has one of the best natural harbours in the world. See the brightly coloured houses which line the streets from the waterfront and the imposing St Coleman's Cathedral. Cobh is also the gateway to the city of Cork and optional excursions to the legendary Blarney Castle.

Day 8 - St. Mary's (Isles of Scilly)

The Isles of Scilly lie just off the coast of Cornwall. St Mary's is the largest of the inhabited islands and is a delight to explore. The island of Tresco, the only privately-owned island, is home to the famous Abbey Gardens. Optional excursions explore St Mary's and and Tresco.

Day 9 - St. Peter Port (Guernsey)

Castle Cornet has stood guard over St Peter Port for over 800 years. See the picturesque waterfront of grey and white stone buildings, stroll along the cobbled streets and take in the Anglo-French ambiance.

Day 10 - Rouen (France)

Rouen is the historic capital of Normandy and known as the city of a hundred spires. Stroll along the cobblestone streets and see the impressive Cathedrale Notre Dame in the Old Town or perhaps take the optional excursion to Monet's house and garden at Giverny.

Day 11 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 12 - Newcastle (UK)

Disembark Magellan in Newcastle. Please note: Passengers who embarked in Dundee on Day 2 will disembark in Dundee tomorrow.
