Rouen Armada Itinerary

Day 1 - Portsmouth (UK)

Embark Marco Polo in Portsmouth.

Day 2 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 3 - Dublin (Ireland)

Dublin is the capital of the Emerald Isle and boasts a superb mix of medieval, Georgian and modern architecture. The city is home to Dublin Castle, Trinity College and majestic Four Courts. Perhaps cross the Ha’penny Bridge, one of Dublin’s most famous landmarks.

Day 4 - St. Mary's (Isles of Scilly)

The Isles of Scilly lie just off the coast of Cornwall. St Mary's is the largest of the inhabited islands and is a delight to explore. The island of Tresco, the only privately-owned island, is home to the famous Abbey Gardens. Optional excursions explore St Mary's and and Tresco.

Day 5 - St. Peter Port (Guernsey)

Castle Cornet has stood guard over St Peter Port for over 800 years. See the picturesque waterfront of grey and white stone buildings, stroll along the cobbled streets and take in the Anglo-French ambiance.

Days 6-7 - Rouen (France)

Marco Polo moors in Rouen during the Rouen Armada, an event which attracts tall ships, sailing boats and military vessels to the banks of the River Seine. Rouen is the historic capital of Normandy and known as the city of a hundred spires. Stroll along the cobblestone streets and see the impressive Cathedrale Notre Dame in the Old Town or perhaps take the optional excursion to Monet's house and garden at Giverny.

Day 8 - Cruising River Seine - Honfleur

Marco Polo cruises the River Seine before arriving in Honfleur. Many renowned painters have been attracted to charming Honfleur with its ever-changing light, half-timbered houses and beautiful old harbour. Nestled in its picturesque cobbled streets, explore the art galleries, artists’ studios, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and fine souvenir shops.

Day 9 - Portsmouth (UK)

Disembark Marco Polo in Hornfleur.
