Spring Gardens and River Seine

Day 1 - Bristol Avonmouth (UK)

Embark Marco Polo in Bristol Avonmouth.

Days 2 - At sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on relaxing days at sea.

Day 3 - Rouen (France)

Spend the morning admiring the pretty scenery as you cruise along the River Seine to Rouen. The historic capital of Normandy is known as the city of a hundred spires. Stroll along the cobblestone streets and see the impressive Cathedrale Notre Dame in the Old Town or visit Rouen’s Place du Vieux-Marche which is famous as the site where Joan of arc was burned at the stake in 1431. Perhaps take an optional excursion to Monet's house and garden at Giverny.

Day 4 - Rouen - Honfleur

Set sail for Honfleur early this morning. Many renowned painters have been attracted to charming Honfleur with its ever-changing light, half-timbered houses and beautiful old harbour. Nestled in its picturesque cobbled streets, explore the art galleries, artists’ studios, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and fine souvenir shops.

Day 5 - St Peter Port (Guernsey, Channel Islands)

Castle Cornet has stood guard over St Peter Port for over 800 years. See the picturesque waterfront of grey and white stone buildings, stroll along the cobbled streets and take in the Anglo-French ambiance.

Day 6 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on relaxing days at sea.

Day 7 - Cobh (Ireland)

The charming little town of Cobh features a colourful waterfront and the imposing St Coleman’s Cathedral. Perhaps visit the ‘Queenstown Story’ exhibition which tells the intriguing story of the towns rich maritime history. Or head to the nearby city of Cork and enjoy an optional excursion to Ireland’s legendary Blarney Castle.

Day 8 - Bristol Avonmouth (UK)

Disembark Marco Polo in Bristol Avonmouth.
