Explore the island of Sanda on foot, site of the first bird observatory in Scotland, ahead of a guided tour of the distillery at Lochranza.

Discover the treasures at Brodick Castle and step back in time to learn about the spiritual heritage of Holy Isle which dates back to the 6th century. Paradise Islands of Argyll Itinerary

Day 1 - Oban (Scotland)

Embark Hebridean Princess in Oban.

Day 2 - Loch na Mile - Port Ellen

Enjoy walks ashore on the island of Jura this morning before visiting the Lagavulin Distillery on the Isle of Islay to sample the distinctive peaty malt whisky.

Day 3 - Gigha

On the island of Gigha explore the famous sub-tropical gardens of Achamore House, planted by Sir James Horlick.

Day 4 - Campbeltown

Call at Campbeltown to visit Saddell Abbey and its impressive collection of late medieval grave slabs and burial effigies. Continue on to privately-owned Sanda Island for walks ashore.

Day 5 - Lochranza - Brodick

The lively Isle of Arran is often referred to as 'Scotland in miniature'. Enjoy a guided tour of the island's only distillery in Lochranza then explore baronial Brodick Castle with its formal gardens, woodland country park and breathtaking views.

Day 6 - Holy Isle

Learn about the spiritual heritage of the tranquil island of Holy Isle which dates back to the 6th century, and enjoy walks ashore. Cruise to Great Cumbrae to see the Cathedral of the Isles, said to be Britain's smallest cathedral.

Day 7 - Little Cumbrae - Rothesay

Enjoy walks ashore on Little Cumbrae, a privately-owned nature reserve with amazing vistas and scenery. Call at the island of Bute to tour Mount Stuart House which reflects the eclectic taste of the 3rd Marquess of Bute.

Day 8 - Greenock

Disembark Hebridean Princess in Greenock.
