Northern Isles and Iceland Special Offer

From spouting geysers to bubbling mud pools and geothermal hot springs, Iceland is one of the world’s most extraordinary landscapes. Explore the incredible 'Land of Ice and Fire' on this no-fly voyage, with the Shetland and Faroe Islands exciting stepping-stones along the way.

Embark Marco Polo in Hull and cruise north to pretty Torshavn, one of the smallest capital cities in the world with characteristic turf-covered buildings and a beautiful harbour. You'll then head to Iceland where you'll spend four exciting days.

The beautiful town of Husavik is renowned for its whale watching, while Isafjordur just below the Arctic Circle is the gateway to the island of Vigur, home to a large eider duck colony. The Icelandic capital of Reykjavik is overlooked by the impressive Hallgrimskirkja Church and is just a stone's throw from the famous geothermal Blue Lagoon.

Marco Polo leaves the dramatic vistas of Iceland and heads to Lerwick in the Shetland Islands, close to the magnificent archaeological site of Jarlshof, and on to Invergordon on the shores of the Cromarty Firth, which has a strong naval history.
