Stroll in the shadow of dramatic An Agurr on the Small Isle of Eigg and visit the ancestral seat of Clan MacLeod at Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye. Cross the Minch to the Isle of Lewis to see the ancient Callanish Standing Stones and Iron Age Carloway Broch then learn more about the region's culture and history at Lews Castle Museum.

Tour the island of Harris and enjoy a weaving demonstration of the famous Harris Tweed then enjoy walks ashore at Prince's Bay on Eriskay. Explore Kisimul Castle, known as the ‘Castle in the Sea’ then return across the Sea of the Hebrides to the colourful fishing village of Tobermory.

Idyllic Outer Isles Itinerary

Day 1 - Oban (Scotland)

Embark Hebridean Princess in Oban.

Day 2 - Eigg

Visit the delightful Small Isle of Eigg for walks ashore then cruise along the west coast of Skye.

Day 3 - Loch Dunvegan

Discover Dunvegan Castle, the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland and ancestral home of the Chiefs of Clan MacLeod for 800 years before enjoying some scenic cruising through The Minch.

Day 4 - Stornoway

Cross to the Outer Isles and start your day on the Isle of Lewis; visit the standing stones of Callanish and the well-preserved Carloway Broch. Discover Lewis Castle with its impressive museum which offers an insight into the history and culture of the Outer Hebrides and see a number of unique objects dating from prehistory during an exhibition.

Day 5 - East Loch Tarbert

Tour the island of Harris, with a weaving demonstration of the famous Harris Tweed, then voyage south along the east coast of the Outer Isles.

Day 6 - Lochboisdale - Barra

Follow in the footsteps of Prince Charles Edward Stuart with a visit to the scenic beauty of Prince's Bay on the Isle of Eriskay. Sail to the island of Barra to see 15th-century Kisimul Castle. This medieval 'Castle in the Sea' enjoys a spectacular setting on a rock in the middle of the bay.

Day 7 - Tobermory

Head to the colourful harbour town of Tobermory and go for a lovely stroll through the town or the surrounding area.

Day 8 - Oban

Disembark Hebridean Princess in Oban.
