Some of the world's greatest and most famous natural wonders await on this exciting voyage to Iceland, a land of contrasts.

Enjoy two days in the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik, gateway to the stunning vistas of Thingvellir National Park and the geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon. Continue to Isafjordur, just a stone's throw from the puffin colonies of Vigur Island, and pretty Akureyri, your gateway to the thundering Godafoss Waterfall and Lake Myvatn.

Keep an eye out for whales as you cruise the narrow Eyjafjordur and then pass Hrisey Island, Iceland's second largest island. Arrive in Seydisfjordur, considered one of the most picturesque towns in Iceland, overlooked by a breathtaking valley which echoes to the sound of 25 thundering waterfalls.

Your ship negotiates the twists and turns of Seydisfjordur, before reaching the open sea and heading to Kirkwall, capital of the remote Orkney Islands. The town feels more Scandinavian than Scottish and its name is derived from the Norse for 'Church Bay'. Discover the ruins of the Earl and Bishop’s Palaces, and the striking St. Magnus Cathedral.
