Denmark's colourful city of Copenhagen is an exciting first port of call, discover the city's highlights including the beautiful Tivoli Gardens and the charming cobblestone streets of Nyhavn before journeying on to Warnemunde. From this pretty port town, explore the old Hanseatic city of Rostock or opt for an optional excursion to the fascinating city of Berlin.

On Bornholm Island, stroll along the quaint streets of Ronne, past half-timbered houses and pretty gardens and then cruise to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Visby to see relics of its Hanseatic heyday. Admire the varied architectural styles of Riga, Latvia's lively capital city and visit the lovely Theatre Square in Klaipeda; the Lithuanian city once captured by the Soviet Red Army.

In Poland, discover Gdansk, which was once one of the wealthiest cities in the Hanseatic League and see the outstanding House of Music in the Danish city of Aalborg before this wonderful cruise comes to an end.

Day 1 - Hull (UK)

Embark Astoria in Hull.

Day 2 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 3 - Copenhagen (Denmark)

From Kalundborg, head to Copenhagen which is the largest city in Scandinavia and home to the world's oldest monarchy. See the elegant Amalienborg Palace, stroll along the cobblestone streets in historic Nyhavn and visit the beautiful Tivoli Gardens.

Day 4 - Warnemunde (Germany)

An international resort at the mouth of the Warnow River, Warnemunde is your gateway to the old Hanseatic city of Rostock, the lovely countryside and coastal resorts of Northern Germany and to Berlin, which can be visited on an exciting full day optional tour. The Brandenburg Gate, fashionable Unter den Linden and the Checkpoint Charlie Museum will provide some powerful memories.

Day 5 - Rønne (Denmark)

The beautiful town of Ronne is the capital of Bornholm Island and has always been an important trading post. The community predominantly relies on fishing and farming, but has diversified into tourism in recent years.

Day 6 - Visby (Sweden)

The medieval port of Visby is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See reminders of its Hanseatic heyday as you stroll along the cobbled streets or perhaps discover some of the town's keys sights including the magnificent Powder Tower and colourful Botantical Gardens.

Day 7 - Riga (Latvia)

Located on the mouth of the River Daugava, Riga is Latvia's bustling capital city. This historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and boasts an array of architectural styles. Perhaps visit the Riga Bourse Museum or journey to the picturesque town of Sigulda, through the beautiful forest scenery.

Day 8 - Klaipėda (Lithuania)

Klaipeda was captured by the Soviet Red Army during World War II. Today it is a thriving port city and its Old Town has magnificent 18th-century buildings, while the beautiful Theatre Square is where you'll find the neoclassical Drama Theatre. Perhaps visit the Soviet Nuclear Weapons Site to learn about Lithuania's former nuclear threat.

Day 9 - Gdansk (Poland)

Gdansk was once one of the wealthiest cities in the Hanseatic League. Admire the magnificent Oliwa cathedral, head to the impressive 15th-century merchant's palace of Artus Court or explore Solidarity Square during your time here.

Day 10 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 11 - Aalborg (Denmark)

In Aalborg, you may visit the modern Utzon Center, designed by the world famous Jørn Utzon who was the architect responsible for the Sydney Opera House, or discover the new House of Music, beautifully created by the Austrian architects from Coop Himmelb(l)au.

Day 12 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 13 - Hull (UK)

Disembark Astoria in Hull.
