Following the Fleet Itinerary

Day 1 - Oban (Scotland)

Embark Hebridean Princess in Oban.

Day 2 - Inverarish

Sail through Kyle Rhea to the Isle of Raasay for a visit the to the former WWI prisoner of war camp in Inverarish.

Day 3 - Aultbea

Cruise the Inner Sound before arriving at the fascinating Russian Arctic Convoy Museum in Loch Ewe, home of the Arctic Convoys in WWII.

Day 4 - Stornoway

Cross the Minch to Stornoway to see the Arnish Gun Emplacements then round Cape Wrath en-route to the Orkney Isles.

Day 5 - Stromness - Kirkwall

Visit Stromness Museum and Ness Battery, a crucial part of the defence of Scapa Flow where the main Royal Navy fleet were based during both wars. Discover St Magnus Cathedral which dominates the Kirkwall skyline.

Day 6 - Kirkwall

Admire the workmanship of the Italian prisoners of war who built the Italian Chapel out of two Nissen huts, and see the Churchill Barriers which protected the anchorage. Cruise Scapa Flow which played an important part in two world wars.

Day 7 - Lyness - Stroma

Explore the Scapa Flow Visitor Centre and Museum then enjoy walks ashore at Stroma.

Day 8 - Scrabster

Visit the Castle of Mey, the former home of HM The Queen Mother (unless the Duke of Rothesay is in residence) or Mary Ann's Cottage.

Day 9 - Invergordon

Disembark Hebridean Princess in Invergordon.

For navigational reasons the Captain of the ship reserves the right to modify the cruise itinerary. Please note this cruise starts in Oban and ends in Invergordon. Coach transfers will be provided from Glasgow Central Railway Station and Glasgow International Airport to Oban at the start of the cruise, and from Invergordon to Inverness Airport and Inverness Railway Station at the end of the cruise. Car parking is available at Invergordon and a complimentary transfer will be provided to Oban on the day of embarkation for guests wishing to utilise this car parking arrangement.

He is now a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Historical Research, University of London, has published a prize-winning biography of Nelson and has led research projects into the Napoleonic Navy.
