Fjords of Norway Special Offer

Sail along the dramatic Norwegian coastline on this incredible no-fly cruise from Harwich.

In Stavanger, stroll past the white houses of the old town, take a cruise along Lysefjord or hike to Pulpit Rock - a sheer cliff that towers 600 metres above the Lysefjord and has jaw-dropping views.

The ship will then cruise along the striking coastline to Bergen, where a traditional funicular ride up Mount Floyen offers far-reaching vistas over the city and excellent hiking trails. Bergen also hosts Norway’s most famous outdoor market.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bryggen is a series of harbour-side Hanseatic heritage buildings and it serves up excellent fresh fish. There’s also the opportunity to visit the home of composer Edvard Grieg – now a living museum with a concert hall and composers’ cabin.

Day 3 - Stavanger (Norway)

Stavanger has a strong seafaring history and tradition. Its old town, Gamle Stavanger, has narrow winding streets and ancient wooden houses which surround the historic market. There are two interesting museums in the city - the Norwegian Petroleum Museum and the Herring Canning Museum.

Day 4 - Leirvik

Leirvik is a town along the Hardangerfjorden and has many shops and restaurants. It is also home to the beautiful Stord Church.

Day 5 - Rosendal

Rosendal is nestled between high mountains and stunning valleys, and located on the Hardangerfjord, the second largest fjord in Norway. It is known for its baronial manor, the smallest “palace” in Scandinavia. Located at the mouth of the fjord, this castle is the only manor of its kind in Norway and is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped park.

Day 6 - Cruising the Sognefjord

The ships cruise picturesque Sognefjord.

Day 7 - Skjolden

Skjolden is the gateway to three incredible national parks - Jotunheimen, Breheimen and Jostedalsbreen. The pretty village is nestled between Sognefjellet and the majestic Jostedal Glacier. The village is home to the UNESCO-listed Stave Church.

Day 8 - Bergen

Seven hills and seven fjords frame the Hanseatic city of Bergen, a city rich in maritime heritage. It is a city renowned for the UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf with its traditional half-timbered buildings. The city also has a lively fish market and hosts the Bergen International Festival. Norway's most famous composer, Edvard Grieg, once lived in the city.

Day 9 - Haugesund

Haugesund is one of the largest maritime towns in Norway and was a major centre of power during the Viking Age. It is home to Norway's national monument, Haraldshaugen, which is located on what is believed to be the burial site of Harald Fairhair.
