Easter Explorer Itinerary

Day 1 - Oban (Scotland)

Embark Hebridean Princess in Oban.

Day 2 - Ardmaddy - Croabh Haven

Shielded by woodland, Ardmaddy Castle Gardens are covered by a blanket of bluebells and daffodils and feature beautiful rhododendrons and azaleas. Stroll through the lovely walled garden before heading to the 20-acre plantsman’s paradise of Arduaine Garden in Craobh Haven.

Day 3 - Tayvallich - Loch na Mile

Explore the picturesque fishing village of Tayvallich on the shores of Loch Sween then explore Craighouse on Jura, the only village on the island.

Day 4 - Port Ellen

On the Isle of Islay visit one of the finest early Christian crosses in Scotland, the 8th-century Kildalton Cross, before a relaxing afternoon cruising the Sound of Islay and the uninhabited Treshnish Islands where there is the chance to spot seals and nesting seabirds.

Day 5 - Ulva Ferry - Bunessan

On Mull, pay a visit to the Lip na Cloiche Garden, a real hidden gem of the Hebrides, and watch a demonstration of traditional techniques at Ardalanish Weavers.

Day 6 - Iona - Staffa

Arrive on the lovely Iona and uncover how the island has been a centre of Christian worship since Columba’s arrival in AD 563. Perhaps join the Easter Sunday service before sailing to Fingal’s Cave with its magnificent hexagonal basalt columns.

Day 7 - Hynish - Coll

Sail to the bird haven of Tiree for a visit to Skerryvore Lighthouse Museum then enjoy walks and cycles ashore on the island of Coll.

Day 8 - Oban

Disembark Hebridean Princess in Oban.
