Canaries at Christmas and New Year Special Offer

Escape the British winter and head to sunnier climes on this festive no-fly voyage to the popular Canary Islands and picturesque Madeira, including a spectacular New Year firework display in pretty Funchal.

Spend Christmas Day at sea with newfound friends, before arriving in Gibraltar, home to the famous Barbary Apes and the spectacular St Michael's Cave. Marco Polo then arrives in the stunning Canary Islands. Arrecife was once a small fishing harbour but today it is the capital of Lanzarote and a haven for duty free shopping. Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and dominated by Mount Teide, while Gran Canaria has a lot to offer, from the architecture of Vegueta to golden beaches and soaring mountains.

Spend New Year's Eve in beautiful Funchal, known as the 'floating garden of the Atlantic'. As Marco Polo approaches, admire the characteristic whitewashed buildings with red tiled roofs tumbling down the verdant mountainside. This evening, enjoy a dazzling firework display with your fellow passengers, the perfect way to see in the New Year. The Portuguese capital of Lisbon with its delightful Alfama district, and Cobh, gateway to the lively city of Cork, are the final ports of call on this incredible voyage before returning to Bristol Avonmouth.
