This charming town is the gateway to Hardangervidda, Norway’s largest national park. The ‘old’ church in Eidfjord was built in 1309. From here, perhaps visit the stunning Voringfossen waterfall or the amazing Sysen Dam on optional excursions. Later, cruise through the beautiful Hardangerfjord.

Day 4 - Flam

The village of Flam is surrounded by towering mountains and nestled at the head of Aurlandsfjord. In the late 19th century, royals were attracted by the salmon fishing in the Flam River. Today, visitors flock to Flam for the opportunity to ride on the world famous railway, a masterpiece of engineering. Later, cruise Sognefjord.

Day 6 - Lerwick (Shetland Islands)

Lerwick was founded as an unofficial marketplace to service 17th-century Dutch herring fleets. Hay's Dock is home to the Shetland Museum and Archives. On the southern tip of Mainland is the impressive archaeological site of Jarlshof.

Day 7 - Kirkwall (Orkney Islands)

Charming Portree is the main town on the beautiful Isle of Skye. On the outskirts of the town, the Skye Heritage Centre and Aros Experience bring the history of the island to life. Optional excursions feature crofting villages and iconic castles with both colourful and poignant history.
