Day 1 - Bristol Avonmouth (UK)

Embark Marco Polo in Newcastle.

Day 2 - St. Mary's (Isles of Scilly)

The Isles of Scilly lie just off the coast of Cornwall. St Mary's is the largest of the inhabited islands and is a delight to explore. The island of Tresco, the only privately-owned island, is home to the famous Abbey Gardens. Optional excursions explore St Mary's and and Tresco.

Day 3 - Honfleur (France)

Many renowned painters have been attracted to charming Honfleur with its ever-changing light, half-timbered houses and beautiful old harbour. Nestled in its picturesque cobbled streets, explore the art galleries, artists’ studios, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and fine souvenir shops.

Day 4 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 5 - Newcastle (UK)

Newcastle was once an important wool and coal port, but today it is renowned for its nightlife, shopping and many attractions. The city has hosted the Great North Run since 1981 which attracts thousands of runners to the area. Nearby is the magnificent Alnwick Castle and neo-Classical Wallington Hall.

Day 6 - Invergordon

Situated on the shores of the deep Cromarty Firth and with a fine natural harbour, Invergordon is a charming coastal gateway to the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The incredible Scottish scenery forms a stunning backdrop to the romantic castles and historic battlefields that feature in optional excursions such as the Glenmorangie Distillery and a visit to Loch Ness with its legendary monster.

Day 7 - Kirkwall (Orkney Islands)

Kirkwall is the capital of the Orkney archipelago. The spectacular St Magnus Cathedral dominates the town's skyline. Take one of the optional excursions during your time here including the magnificent archaeological site of Skara Brae.

Day 8 - Stornoway (Outer Hebrides)

Originally a Viking settlement, Stornoway is today the main town on the beautiful island of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. Explore the local specialist shops selling handcrafted goods from the Outer Hebrides including jewellery and the famous Harris Tweed. The Isle of Lewis is considered to be the heartland of the Gaelic culture, and is home to some important prehistoric sites including the Neolithic Callanish Stones and Pictish Carloway Broch.

Day 9 - Tobermory (Isle of Mull)

The picture-postcard village of Tobermory is one of the prettiest ports in Scotland. Its large natural harbour is home to colourful boats bobbing on the waves and a rainbow of brightly painted buildings backed by wooded hills. Mull’s diverse landscape ranges from high mountain and wild moorland to sea cliffs and sandy beaches.

Day 10 - Belfast (Northern Ireland)

The cosmopolitan city of Belfast is home to Titanic Belfast, the museum exploring the legend of the Titanic. At the heart of today’s cosmopolitan city is Belfast’s elegant City Hall, which stands in Donegal Square. Perhaps discover the extraordinary Giant’s Causeway on an optional excursion from the city.

Day 11 - Douglas (Isle of Man)

The Isle of Man is a unique self-governing kingdom with its own parliament, laws, traditions and culture. Discover enchanting scenery, ancient sites and medieval castles and step back in time by taking a delightful trip on a Victorian railways or horse tram. Look out for superb handicrafts in the specialist shops found in Douglas's pedestrianised shopping centre.

Day 12 - Bristol Avonmouth (UK)

Disembark Marco Polo in Bristol Avonmouth.
