Christmas in a Polynesian Paradise

Day 1 - UK - Papeete (Tahiti)

Fly from the UK to Papeete. Embark Seven Seas Navigator in Papeete.

Day 2 - Papeete - Moorea (French Polynesia)

The island of Tahiti is the largest of the 118 islands that comprise French Polynesia, Papeete is the bustling capital and economic centre of French Polynesia. Set sail for Moorea and arrive on the spectacular island early this morning. Covered in emerald forests, majestic volcanic peaks, tranquil lagoons, spectacular bays and pristine palm-fringed beaches, Moorea's beauty is unsurpassed. Explore Moorea's botanical and agricultural beauty during a scenic walking tour or explore the magnificence of Cook's and Opunohu bays and learn about the legends, geography, flora and fauna of Moorea during the Lagoon Discovery with Snorkelling excursion.

Day 3 - Fakarava (Tuamotus)

Spend a unique Christmas Day on the tiny atoll of Fakarava relaxing on the pristine beach and enjoying the breath-taking scenery.

Day 4 - At Sea

Day 5 - Nuku Hiva

The beautiful volcanic island of Nuku Hiva boasts majestic mountains with jagged walls that plunge dramatically into the sparkling blue ocean below. Wander through the forest in search of rivers, stone 'tiki' statues and waterfalls including the third biggest waterfall in the world which is located in Hakaui. Alternatively, visit the remarkable Taipivai Valley for spectacular beauty and photo opportunities.

Day 6 - At Sea

Relax onboard and enjoy the facilities on Seven Seas Navigator.

Day 7 - Rangiroa (Tuamotus)

Life on Rangiroa is tranquil and simple. Perhaps venture into the small villages and see the daily activities of the Paumotu people or admire the coral gardens and tropical fish of Rangiroa during a scenic glass-bottom boat tour. Alternatively, learn about Rangiroa's black pearl industry during a visit to a black pearl farm.

Day 8 - Bora Bora

Dominated by two towering volcanic mountains and surrounded by a multi-coloured lagoon protected by low-lying coral reefs, Bora Bora is indeed a spectacular destination and is often considered to be the most beautiful island in the world. Hop on a Le Truck for a tour around this island paradise. Pass small villages for a glimpse into the everyday life of the people of Bora Bora, see relics left behind by the U.S. military during WWII, learn about tupa crabs, taste locally grown fruits and see Mount Otemanu, Bora Bora's highest peak.

Day 9 - Bora Bora

Spend a second day exploring magical Bora Bora. Discover the awe-inspiring undersea beauty from a glass-bottomed boat on Bora Bora's famous lagoon or relax on one of the pristine beaches. After an overnight stay, enjoy an amazing sail away on new years’ eve.

Day 10 - Raiatea

Raiatea is the second largest island of French Polynesia after Tahiti and features lush green valleys, numerous waterfalls and pineapple and vanilla plantations. Join a guided coach tour of the island to learn about Raiatea's ancient culture and the evolution of the islands amazing terrain. Alternatively, head to nearby Tahaa to embrace the traditional Tahitian culture, discover how vanilla is grown and relax on the islands gorgeous beach.

Day 11 - Huahine

Enclosed in a single lagoon, Huahine is one of the most picturesque and geographically diverse islands in the Society Groups. Head to Motu Vaiorea and enjoy snorkelling in the crystal-clear lagoon which boasts an outstanding underwater world or ride through the island on a 4x4 vehicle to witness the unspoiled back-country that reflects the essence of Polynesia, these are just some of the exciting excursions available.

Day 12 - Papeete (Tahiti) - UK

Disembark Seven Seas Navigator in Papeete. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Day 13 - UK

Arrive back in the UK.
