There are visits to Malaga, glamorous Puerto Banus and Gibraltar with its iconic Rock. Soak up the scent of spices and incenses in Morocco's aromatic bazaars in Tangier then wander the old quarter of captivating Cadiz or take an optional trip to Seville before sailing to Lisbon.

Spain to Morocco and Portugal Itinerary

Day 1 - Cannes (France)

Embark Royal Clipper in Cannes.

Day 2 - Bonifacio (Corsica)

The ancient city of Bonifacio perches high on top of a cliff and is home to a modern harbour, medieval citadel and fabulous views.

Day 3 - Mahon (Menorca, Spain)

Mahon is the capital of Menorca and has market stalls, boutiques and an old quarter of Georgian buildings to explore as well as lovely white sandy beaches.

Day 4 - Ibiza

The sun-kissed island of Ibiza is surprisingly tranquil, with peaceful unspoiled beaches, beautiful coastal walks and a laid-back atmosphere.

Day 5 - At sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 6 - Motril

Motril in Andalucia enjoys sunny beaches and nestles at the foot of the mountains of the Sierra Nujar. It is the gateway to Granada and the magnificent Alhambra Palace, or why not travel to the fascinating Nerja Caves.

Day 7 - Malaga

Malaga has a beautiful setting on the Costa del Sol and its splendid Moorish architecture includes fortress palace of the Alcazaba and the Castillo de Gibralfaro.

Day 8 - Puerto Banus

Puerto Banus is the Costa del Sol's playground for the rich and famous. With a luxury marina and high-class boutiques, this beautiful Mediterranean resort is adored by jet-setters around the world.

Day 9 - Gibraltar

Gibraltar is famous for the iconic Rock of Gibraltar. Perhaps take the cable car to the top for spectacular views and to see the island's famous apes. Dolphins leap in the sparkling waters of Gibraltar Bay and the chances of seeing them on trips around the bay are good.

Day 10 - Tangier (Morocco)

Discover Tangier’s mixture of Moroccan, European and African flavours and cultures. Perhaps visit the Kasbah with its fascinating museum or the Sultan's Garden with its Moroccan fountain, fragrant herbs and orange and lemon trees.

Day 11 - Cadiz (Spain)

In Cadiz the gold dome of the Baroque Cathedral Nueva dominates the romantic old quarter. Perhaps take an optional excursion to the colourful city of Seville with its cathedral, Alcazar Palace and Andalusian gardens.

Day 12 - At sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 13 - Lisbon (Portugal)

Disembark Royal Clipper in Lisbon.
