Day 2Fontvieille (Monaco)
The ancient principality of Monaco is famous for its Grand Casino and Grand Prix Circuit. Spend the day in Monaco during one of the biggest races in the Formula 1 calendar - the Monaco Grand Prix.
Day 3Saint-Florent (Corsica)
Crowded with yachts flying burgees hailing from the world's most prestigious yacht clubs, the harbour of St. Florent is a regatta of colours. Discover ancient buildings such as the 12th-century Cathedral or the 15th-century Citadelle, enjoy strolling along the waterfront and taking advantage of the constant hustle and bustle of the marina, located in the heart of the village. Nearby, you can also enjoy the heavenly beaches of the Agriates or discover the vineyards of Patrimonio.
Day 4Porticcio Beach - Ajaccio
The famous seaside resort of Porticcio has fine sandy beaches and warm turquoise waters – ideal for swimming or snorkelling. Ajaccio is set on a lovely sweeping bay and is dotted with fascinating sites relating to Napoleon Bonaparte, who was born here in 1769.
Day 5Alghero (Sardinia, Italy)
The beautiful medieval city of Alghero has a well-preserved historical centre packed with cobbled lanes, Gothic palazzo and café-lined piazzas. Perhaps explore the wonderful San Francesco church and the striking bell tower or walk along the golden sea walls for superb sea views.
Day 6Bonifacio (Corsica)
Royal Clipper cruises to Bonifacio, where medieval houses cling on to soaring limestone cliffs. Perhaps explore the labyrinth of charming streets and traditional cafes in the beautiful Old Town, admire the impressive 9th-century citadel or wander around the marina, full of luxury yachts.
Day 7Portoferraio
Known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean, Elba is a glorious paradise of azure waters, hidden coves, tranquil beaches and stunning views. Elba's restaurants serve excellent seafood, and small private vineyards produce local Moscato and Aleatico wines.
Day 8Civitavecchia (Italy)
Civitavecchia is an important seaport serving Rome, the Italian capital. As a key entry point for Mediterranean cruises and ferries crossing the Tyrrhenian Sea, Civitavecchia offers a gateway to a variety of destinations in Italy and beyond. The city is 70 km from Rome and 62 km to Fiumiccino airport.
