Balearic Islands and Morocco Itinerary

Day 1 - Cannes (France)

Embark ship in Civitavecchia.

Day 2 - Bonifacio (Corsica, France)

Medieval houses cling on to soaring limestone cliffs in the beautiful Mediterranean town of Bonifacio. Perhaps explore the labyrinth of charming streets and traditional cafes in the beautiful Old Town, admire the impressive 9th-century citadel or wander around the marina, full of luxury yachts.

Day 3 - Mahon (Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain)

Mahon, the capital of Menorca, is a charming city with market stalls, shops and an old quarter of Georgian buildings to explore. Discover the island's beautiful crescent-shaped beaches that have beckoned holidaymakers for decades.

Day 4 - Ibiza (Balearic Islands, Spain)

The Catalan conquest in 1235 was an important date in the town's history. Today, the area is popular with tourists due to its laid back atmosphere and several famous clubs. The island also has a tranquil side, with peaceful unspoiled beaches and beautiful coastal walks.

Day 5 - At sea

Relax and enjoy the ship's facilities during a day at sea.

Day 6 - Motril (Spain)

The charming resort of Motril in Andalucia enjoys sunny beaches and nestles in the foothills of the Sierra Lujar mountains. It is the gateway to Granada and the impressive Alhambra Palace.

Day 7 - Malaga

Malaga was the birthplace of Picasso and is home to the magnificent Castillo de Gibralfaro.

Day 8 - Puerto Banus

The glamorous seaside resort of Puerto Banus is Costa del Sol's playground for the rich and famous, with beautiful beaches and excellent watersports.

Day 9 - Gibraltar

Gibraltar is dominated by the iconic Rock of Gibraltar. Perhaps take the cable car to the summit for spectacular views and to see the island's famous apes. Dolphins leap in the sparkling waters of Gibraltar Bay and the chances of seeing them are good.

Day 10 - Tangier (Morocco)

The city of Tangier is the gateway to Africa and the historic medina has pretty alleyways and lively souks. The Kasbah houses a museum with fascinating artefacts, including 16th-century jewellery and a superb floor mosaic.

Day 11 - Cadiz (Spain)

The ancient city of Cadiz is home to a gold-domed cathedral, beautiful medieval quarter and romantic winding streets. Perhaps join an optional excursion to the magical city of Seville with its cathedral, Alcazar Palace and Andalusian gardens.

Day 12 - At sea

Relax and enjoy the ship's facilities during a day at sea.

Day 13 - Lisbon (Portugal)

Disembark ship in Lisbon.
