Caribbean Crossing Itinerary

Day 1 - Montego Bay (Jamaica)

Embark Royal Clipper in Montego Bay.

Day 2 - Port Antonio

Port Antonio was a quiet town until the banana boom of the 1880s, then in the 1920s the town became popular with royals and movie stars. Perhaps visit the famous Blue Lagoon, the ruined Folly Mansion or Fort George, once owned by Errol Flynn.

Day 3 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 4 - Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic)

Historic Santo Domingo was founded by Bartolome Columbus in 1496, and the bones of the explorer Christopher Columbus lie in the old fort on the Ozama River. In the cobbled streets of the Zona Colonial there is one of the oldest churches and the oldest surviving European fortress in the Caribbean.

Day 5 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 6 - Gustavia (St Barts)

St Barts was once a trade port where booty from sea raids was stored or sold. Today it is visited by luxury yachts and the island's pretty capital of Gustavia has upmarket boutiques and good French restaurants.

Day 7 - Falmouth Harbour (Antigua)

Falmouth Harbour is close to the historic Nelson's Dockyard in Antigua's English Harbour. Stroll the shops, dine in one of the excellent local restaurants or relax on a sandy beach.

Day 8 - Terre de Haut (Iles des Saintes)

Iles de Saintes consists of eight tiny islands. Terre de Haut has a relaxed French atmosphere and is ideal for snorkelling, diving or simply relaxing on the superb beaches.

Day 9 - Cabrits (Dominica)

Cabrits National Park in northern Dominica includes tropical rainforest, breathtaking waterfalls and the remains of a volcanic crater. Perhaps take a boat ride through an orchid-filled forest or explore the restored English garrison of Fort Shirley.

Day 10 - Marigot Bay (St Lucia) - Soufriere

St Lucia is well-known for the Piton twin-peaks, its rainforest and its banana, coconut and mango plantations. At Marigot Bay, the marina is full of glamorous yachts and in Soufriere there are sulphur springs and the beautiful Anse Chastanet beach.

Day 11 - Kingstown (St Vincent and Bequia) - Admiralty Bay

St Vincent is a good place to spot humpback and sperm whales and schools of dolphins. Why not take a dip in the Owia Salt Pond, hike the Vermont Nature Trail or swim with turtles at Bequia's Turtle Sanctuary.

Day 12 - Bridgetown (Barbados)

Disembark Royal Clipper in Bridgetown.
