Phuket to Singapore Itinerary
Day 1 - Phuket (Thailand)
Embark Star Clipper in Phuket, Thailand's largest island which has retained much of its local culture.
Day 2 - Similan Islands
The Similian archipelago is considered one of the best diving locations in the world. See the striking boulders on the beaches and keep an eye out for wildlife including crab-eating monkeys and lizards. Passengers will visit either Ko Miang or Ko Similan depending on departure date.
Day 3 - Phang Nga Bay - Ko Hong
See the magnificent limestone karsts which rise from the emerald-green waters of Phang Nga Bay. This afternoon, head to Ko Hong island off Krabi.
Day 4 - Ko Adang (Butang archipelago)
Ko Adang lies north of Ko Lipe and is perfect for snorkelling.
Day 5 - Penang or Langkawi (Malaysia)
The island of Penang was part of the Malay sultanate until 1786. Highlights include the Reclining Buddha and the streets of Georgetown, lined with historical buildings, including 19th-century merchant houses. The reverse itinerary visits Langkawi instead of Penang.
Day 6 - At sea
Relax on board Star Clipper as you head to Malacca.
Day 7 - Malacca
Malacca was the centre of the Malay world in the 15th and 16th centuries. Today it is a World Heritage Site, home to the ruined Portuguese fort "A Famosa" and St Paul's Church which overlooks the Malacca Strait and Dutch Square.
Day 8 - Singapore
Disembark Star Clipper in Singapore.
