Day 1 - Rio de Janeiro (Brazil)
Embark ship in Rio de Janeiro.
Day 2 - Buzios
Considered the St. Tropez of Brazil, Buzios boasts twenty beaches, including Azeda Beach with its calm and crystal-clear waters. Perhaops, take a walking tour of the Emerências Reserve, where you'll find exotic plants, bromeliads and even the last golden lion tamarin monkeys in the region.
Day 3 - Ilha Grande
Beautiful tropical beaches and dense rainforest abound on this pristine island. Why not enjoy snorkelling on a schooner trip to the idyllic Blue Lagoon or enjoy a historical walking tour.
Day 4 - Parati
This historic town has beautifully preserved Portuguese colonial architecture, charming narrow streets, an imposing fort and exquisite churches. Perhaps take a leisurely schooner cruise and enjoy swimming, snorkelling or just relaxing on a lovely sandy beach.
Day 5 - Sao Paulo
Journey inland to vibrant São Paulo, whose museums are among the finest in South America. Its entertainment and nightlife attract some of the best performers in the world and the city has evolved into a centre for Brazil's own martial art, capoeira, whose dance-like motions are performed to music. Perhaps explore charming Santos and its extraordinary botanical garden, including an orchidarium and an aviary with macaws, toucans and parrots, or take a scenic drive to Guaruja and visit the resort town's fascinating aquarium.
Day 6 - Porto Belo
Perched on a lovely peninsula, Porto Belo is revered for its beaches along this ‘Emerald Coast’. There is the opportunity to explore the cosmopolitan city of Florianopolis and discover its fascinating history or learn about the unique role that German heritage has played in southern Brazil's history on a trip to the town of Blumenau.
Day 7 - At sea
Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.
Day 8 - Rio Grande
Explore this lovely old Portuguese city, with its beautiful buildings, monuments and churches, home to the Museum of Sacred Art and the fascinating oceanographic museum. Perhaps join the guided tour of the city which features the Cathedral Sao Pedro and the Museum of Sacred Art.
Day 9 - Punta Del Este (Uruguay)
Spend the day enjoying this glamorous beach resort, its marinas and interesting shops. See amazing works by Dali, Chagall and Miro at the Ralli Museum, or perhaps see thousands of sea lions on a cruise around Sea Wolves Island, or join the guided bike ride through the city.
Day 10 - Montevideo
Explore the rich culture of the nation’s capital through its art deco buildings, colonial homes and landmarks including the towering Palacio Salvo and the neoclassical Solís Theatre. Why not visit a local vineyard and sample its wines, watch an authentic tango performance or travel to the irresistibly picturesque Colonia del Sacramento.
Day 11 - Buenos Aires (Argentina)
Disembark your ship in Buenos Aires.
