Your special guest on this voyage is Laura Rhodes. A Blue Badge Tourist Guide and tour manager, Laura has worked for many large tour operators and leads educational tours and special interest tours to RHS flower shows at Chelsea and Hampton court, as well as garden tours to the south west of England. She is familiar with many of the country houses and gardens of the north, and has worked extensively in the region. Other recent work has been with pilgrimage groups following the story of Early Christianity, and walking tours along the sites of Hadrian’s Wall. Laura is the chair of the North East England Tourist Guides Association and has been involved in both training and examining guides for other regions. Away from work, Laura enjoys her own little garden, and travelling in the UK and Europe with the family.
