Itinerary
Day 1Venice (Italy)
Embark at 6pm in Venice. Enjoy a welcome cocktail party in the lounge. After dinner, explore the sights of Venice at leisure. Overnight in port.
Day 2Venice
This morning there is an optional visit of Saint Mark’s Basilica. The palace is Byzantine in origin and used to be the home of the Doge and the seat of the Palace of Justice. There is also the option to follow in the footsteps of Casanova with a tour of the Doge's palace. This afternoon's optional excursion visits the islands in the Lagoon. Begin in Murano, home of Venice’s glassmaking industry since the late 13th century then visit Burano, famous for its lacework which was developed on the island in the 16th century. Return on board.
Day 3Venice
Spend today discovering Venice at leisure. There is an optional food tour of little-known neighbourhoods in Venice.
Day 4Chioggia
Breakfast on board while the ship cruises across the magnificent Venice lagoon to reach Chioggia. Take an optional excursion to Padua, the pilgrimage town of St Anthony and famous for its art. In the meantime, the ship cruises back to Venice where you will join it in the evening. Dinner on board and gala evening.

Disembark after breakfast.
