Swiss Ruby, sister ship to Lord Byron, is designed for cruising on smaller rivers such as the Elbe.

Originally launched in 2002, Swiss Ruby has since been refurbished to a luxury standard with the latest equipment and high-class fittings. With just 88 passengers, there is a spacious feel on board and less than 4 guests to every crew member means there is an excellent service.

Enjoy the views of the passing scenery from the panoramic windows in the lounge at the front of the ship and relax in the evening listening to the pianist. The Sun Deck is also a great place to read and relax.

Dining:
Take a stroll on the Sun Deck and enjoy an Early Risers tea, coffee and pastries, enjoy a full breakfast buffet in the restaurant or have a continental breakfast in your cabin. There is a buffet lunch, afternoon tea and chef's special patisserie. The culinary highlight is a four-course evning dinner with international dishes, the 'Welcome Dinner' and the 'Captain's Gala Dinner'. The restaurant has informal free seating. In addition to the main restaurant, the 'Chef's Restaurant' is open for dinner with panoramic windows and seating just 24 diners with a fixed menu from the chef's favourite signature dishes.

Cabins:

Cabins on Ruby Deck have French Balconies with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. Cabins on the Emerald Deck have large panoramic windows. All cabins feature hotel-style beds, a safe, hairdryer and flat-screen TV and a marble-finished bathroom.
