Swiss Corona was built in 2004 and Swiss Tiara was built in 2006 with the most modern design techniques and latest safety features. The luxurious lobby has beautifully polished marble decks, rich hardwoods and brass fittings. There are just 139 guests onboard and 35 crew meaning a ratio of less than 4 to 1 which guarantees an excellent level of service. Ruby Deck and Diamond Deck are connected by a lift, and there is a staircase to the Emerald Deck and Sun Deck. There are two lounges to relax in with a full bar service. Swiss Corona also has a sauna, steamroom and whirlpool.
Dining:
If you are an early riser then take advantage of the tea, coffee and fresh pastries on the Sun Deck or enjoy a full breakfast buffet with hot and cold options plus a popular omelette station. You can also enjoy a continental breakfast in your cabin. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. There is a buffet lunch and afternoon tea. Dinner is a four-course meal with international classics and regional dishes. There is a Welcome Dinner and Captain's Gala Dinner. On Swiss Corona, in addition to the restaurant there is the unique 'Chef's Restaurant' which seats just 24 diners with the chef presenting his favourite signature dishes with finest seasonal produce.
Cabins:
Swiss Tiara and Swiss Corona have some of the largest cabins on a river cruise ship. They are 161 sq. ft. with hotel-style beds. There is a safe, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, air conditioning, hairdryer and seating area. Cabins on the Diamond and Ruby Decks deature floor-to-ceiling windows, whilst cabins on the Emerald Deck have a smaller fixed window.
Suites:
There are a limited number of suites available which are 193 sq. ft., on each deck.
