Launched in 2017/2018, magnificent sister ships Douro Elegance and Douro Splendour offer cruises along Portugal’s most famous river, the Douro.
The ships accommodate just 126 guests in the most exquisite of surroundings. All three air-conditioned accommodation decks are connected by a lift. Relax in the sumptuously furnished lounge and well-stocked bar and enjoy the stunning views from the magnificent panoramic windows. The chic restaurant offers tables that seat just four to eight and there are ‘open dining’ arrangements giving guests the freedom to sit wherever and with whoever they wish. Breakfast is a hot and cold buffet, lunch is another deliciously fine array and the culinary highlight of the day is the superb four-course dinner of international cuisine.
