During five days of scenic cruising, see the impressive Roman remains in Arles, a town which inspired many of Van Gogh's paintings, and the famous Pont d'Avignon and Pope's Palace, one of Europe's largest and most important medieval buildings.
In Vienne, there is the option to tour the Roman Temple to Augustus and Livia and the Roman Theatre before returning to Lyon where New Year celebrations take place against the backdrop of the magnificent city and its illuminated old quarter.

LNA - New Year Celebrations in Provence Itinerary
Day 1 - Lyon (France)
We board our floating hotel at around 3pm in Lyon and set sail towards Arles. Meet the crew over a welcome cocktail before dinner and an evening of entertainment on board.
Day 2 - Arles
Breakfast on board as we cruise gently through the picturesque landscapes of southern France, passing Valence and its Saint Apollinaire Cathedral and Montelimar. After lunch on board we arrive in Arles and set off for an optional guided visit of the town. With many ancient Roman and Romanesque buildings listed as World Heritage Sites, it is a fascinating city to explore. We return on board for dinner and moor for the night.
Day 3 - Avignon
Cruise to Avignon. There is an optional guided tour of Avignon and the "Palais des Papes". The World Heritage Site of old Avignon has some exceptional monuments including the famous Pont d'Avignon, the city Ramparts, the Petit Palais, the cathedral and the impressive walls of the Papal Palace flanked by four great towers. Back on board for lunch and spend the afternoon cruising towards Vienne. Gala dinner on board tonight. Cruise through the night.
Day 4 - Vienne
We arrive in Vienne early this morning, setting off after breakfast for an optional tour of this Roman city which has preserved its architectural heritage. New Year's Eve dinner followed by an evening of dancing. Overnight in port.
Day 5 - Lyon
We have breakfast on board before disembarkation around 10am.
