Our journey begins in cosmopolitan Strasbourg, located on the border between France and Germany, and famous for its magnificent cathedral and colourful half-timbered buildings. We cruise the Romantic Rhine river to Koblenz, meandering alongside steep cliffs and small islands, enclosed by hillside vineyards.
Experience the spectacular scenery of this region with its many castles and ruins, wine-growing villages and small medieval towns. We visit the historic town of Koblenz, Rudesheim with its lively Drosselgrasse of restaurants and taverns, and pass the famous Lorelei Rock. Sailing back up the Rhine to Speyer, you have the chance to visit Heidelberg and its famous castle.

SEH - Romantic River Rhine Cruise Break Itinerary
Day 1 - Strasbourg (France)
Embark your ship in Strasbourg and enjoy a welcome drink before dinner on board. This evening there is an optional visit to Old Strasbourg by canal boat (subject to minimum number of participants). The ship will sail through the night.
Day 2 - Koblenz (Germany)
Sailing to the towns of Lauterbourg, Speyer, Mainz. Breakfast on board. The cruise will continue towards Koblenz up the most beautiful section of the Romantic Rhine. We will sail past the towns of Kaub, Oberwese and Saint-Goar. Before we reach our mooring in Koblenz, you will see Stolzenfels castle. Arrival in Koblenz late afternoon. Explore the old city in the company of our hostess. This evening is at leisure.
Day 3 - Rudesheim
We continue sailing up the beautiful River Rhine between Koblenz and Rudesheim. We will pass numerous castles situated in famous vineyards, as well as the famous Lorelei Rock. Lunch on board. We arrive in Rudesheim early afternoon, and there is time to do some shopping, or you may choose to join the optional excursion which takes you by mini-train to a wine tasting and then to the Mechanical Music Museum. There is a second optional excursion - a hike through the vineyards of Rudesheim. In the evening, the famous Drosselgasse awaits you with its numerous open-air bars and bands.
Day 4 - Speyer
We set sail early this morning to sail back up the Rhine to Speyer. Cruise we will pass through the towns of Wiesbaden, Nierstein, Worms and Mannheim. Depart for the optional excursion: visit to Heidelberg. The symbol of German Romanticism, it owes its reputation to its incomparable location in the Neckar valley, nestling between the forest-covered slopes and dominated by the majestic ruins of its castle. Stopover in Speyer or Mannheim, depending on the availability of mooring points. Back on board late afternoon. Gala dinner this evening.
Day 5 - Strasbourg (France)
Breakfast on board before disembarking around 9am.
